Jumunjin was my next stop after 2 nights in Sokcho.

You'll rarely encounter Jumunjin in travel or Korea blogs. All I know is that Jumunjin is near Sokcho, a perfect stopover before heading back to Seoul especially for fan girls like me! You'll find two popular Hallyu shooting locations in this northeastern town of Gangneung City.

I have a friend who collects Funko Pops, and one who is really into dolls. We are all in our 30s age range now, but I encourage and enable my chingus whenever I find out they are into this and that.

Meanwhile, I'd like to say that I'm trying to "collect" South Korea cities.

I realized that traveling outside of Seoul makes me really excited and fulfilled. I look into my #Koreanagon Instagram hashtag with genuine happiness--like my friend looking at his shelf of Funko. So every time I go to Korea, I try my best to include a trip outside of Seoul in my itinerary.  What is your favorite South Korea city?

I never regretted a single travel, never regretted being game to activities even though I am not really good at it and may even result to embarrassment, hehe. Whether it's surfing, wake boarding, or those other activities that involve a lot of courage but does not require much skill (haha) like jumping off cliffs or riding steep roller coasters, I am up for it! When the day comes that I've consumed all my strength and courage, I'll be proud to say that at least I've used them all up well. 

To me, a winter trip will not be completed without going to an ice festival and try skiing for the first time! I don't know why I set the Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival & Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort (Updated 2024 Link!) package on my last full day in Korea, the day before my flight, but it actually sounds like the perfect finale for my 10-day Winter in Korea adventure.

I'm trying to figure out how I will start my latest Korea trip travel blog series again, so I decided to go head on with the day where everything's NEW to me.

You see, it's already my fourth time in Korea, I was ready to go to places I've already been to coz it's a trip for my family after all. Except for my Ate, they are all Korea first timers. It's exciting for me to be their tour guide, and at the same time, nerve wracking as I have to constantly check the schedule and my subway app throughout the day!

So one of my most chill day during this trip was when we had our Seoraksan National Park & Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm tour, an activity we pre-booked via Korean travel site Trazy.com. No trains for the whole day, we were conveniently picked up from our guesthouse (on-the-dot!) and traveled around 3 hours towards the east of Korea.
