Acquired another magazine few days ago, which made me fall in love (again) with my favorite Drew Barrymore! :p The last section of the mag is 20 Questions, eto ang version ko if ever I get to have this interview (lol)

Today was shopping day, and qumouta nanaman ako, haha! Nakailang beses kong sinabi kay Mom na, "Ang saya ko! Ang saya ko!" with heartfelt sincerity ;p, habang nakapila sa cashier, or while hoarding from piles of cool finds in the shops of a nearby mall earlier where our Tito left us muna for almost the whole day from breakfast till closing! ;p Whew, haba nung run-on sentence na yun a!  

Anyway, here are some photos from one of our "Walks" from days ago. "Walks" is my new activity with mom and Tita para makapag exercise din before Pinas (haha). I enjoy this talaga, dahil mas lalo kong nakikita ang area where we've stayed--unlike pag dekoche lang kami palagi, or lalo na unlike pag stuck lang sa house!

Kung may time ka kumain, dapat may time ka din mag exercise! ;p Haha, yan ang new motto/mantra ko dito!

I woke up today at peace na with the thought of uneventful remaining days here in the States. The Polar Vortex won't help pa, I can't just go out emo-style and walk around to look for the nearest coffee shop, kung ayokong ma-frostbite. Being a tropical girl, hindi din ako super sanay sa lamig, so kahit hindi pa frostbite, mamamatay ata ako sa ngatog! :p So scrap-off na ang walk to the nearest Waffle House or museum as part of my to dos, and maximize nalang and enjoy what's here in the house.

For breakfast today, I had generous servings of buttered croissants and a glass of milk. I love preparing food! I also had a glazed donut (not in photo). Super nagutom ako from last night:

Today is most probably the coldest sunny day I'll ever experience in this lifetime (lol, OA, haha!). The temperature dropped ng hanggang 0 Fahrenheit, but thank God sinabi lang itong news nato sa akin ni Mom at tulog pa ako nun nangyari yun. Naabutan ko nalang nung nag 2F na--which is the exact temperature of our ref's freezer. Tira nalang ako sa fridge, mas mainit pa dun!? ;p

So FINALLY we went out! Tito realized paubos na our supplies of breads and other kitchen stuff, so we headed for the grocery! But first they dropped me and mom sa Macy's so we can shop--woot!

The day when we woke up to leave New York na, I seriously felt a case of anxiety / separation attack--nakakainis! Jinarts! Haha! But then, whenever you fall in love--whether sa isang bagay, a job, a person, or in this case, a place--kahit you spent a few days with it lang, parating it's so hard to part with it. But before that day!...

While waiting earlier for our time to go out for more shopping in malls I have not been to, I think I've projected a smug face that Ate said, "Naka-cabin fever ka na a." True enough, the past days had been chill and the only time we go out was to check a nearby mall or grocery. I miss walking around the streets of a foreign place (like what I said in this post). Aside from the cold and lack of commuting options here in our Tito's place in Maryland (kaya antayan dapat sa car just to go to a commercial place)--busy din my relatives here sa work nila. Anyway, enjoying the company parin... Here are some of our activities the past days...

Can't believe asa December 20s na, and nabibilang nalang sa daliri till Christmas. I am so excited!!! :D The rush, this trip, my family... They're making Christmas more and more exciteeeng! Second day in Maryland, the family went on a road trip to Pennsylvania to check out the Hershey's Chocolate World! I am the biggest Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar fan!!!

It's 1:56 in the afternoon here in Baltimore, and everyone's having their siesta. It's the most Pinoy household I've been to since we flew here in the US. The first time we went out, riding my tito's Pilot, everyone's enjoying the snowy, white view while singing to classic OPM jukebox hits and even more classic Jose Mari Chan Christmas songs. Ang extreme, ang saya! Sa sobrang chill here, I find it hard to really dress up, go out, and take snow pictures! But yesterday, after going to Target for (food) shopping... Cea and I forced ourselves out of the house with our cameras before the sun sets (5pm palang ang dilim na!).

I think that the most beautiful sight for me in LA are the palm trees that lined up their streets, especially postcard-worthy pag sunsets! Ang ganda noh?

It was a long day, and 12ish a.m. na ngayon dito sa Maryland, and almost everyone's asleep nadin. We spent most of the day on the road at sobrang traffic from Baltimore to Pennsylvania, from time to time pag nagigising ako feeling ko magigising ako na asa EDSA traffic or something, kaso dito wala akong 3G, nightmare! Lol.

Kamusta na jan sa Pinas? Kamusta ang Christmas rush? Ok ba ang trato sa inyo ng taxi drivers, e ng malls?! Baltimore is in full-Christmas-mode, with the crazy snow, and with my cousins na kids sa house na everyday namin kasama! :) We finished watching White Chicks kanina, on a school night, and sobrang laughtrip parin! More relatives are coming over soon, so for sure kagulo lalo bilang crazy talaga ang dad's side ko!

But before that....
