Cellphones are getting prettier and prettier! Not only are the features superb, but the new lineup from ASUS Philippines are very stylish gadgets that answered all our concerns when it comes to mobile phones. I attended the grand ZenFestival last August 29 to find out more about these.
ZenFone Selfie, one of the powerful phones introduced last Saturday at the festival, held at The Eye in Green Sun, Makati.
In a very cool talk and fashion show, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen announces the pricing and availability of the new ZenFone models in the Philippines, including the ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone Laser, and the ZenFone Deluxe.

After the program, the guests were then led to this huge function room for several surprises: The ZenFone Experience area, a talk by Sasa Jimenez and Pepper.PH, and great food for everyone.

The ZenFone Experience section allowed us to play around and get to know ASUS' latest phones, tablets, and accessories hands-on. I love ASUS credit card-sized power banks!
ZenFone 2 Deluxe (Php 17, 995) has stunning, elegant design inspired by crystals. The phone has incredible-sharp and vivid 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, with 72% screen-to-body ratio for a maximized viewing experience. The ZenFone 2 Deluxe is available in Illusion Smooth Pink, Illusion Polygon Blue, and Illusion Diamond White.
Meanwhile, the ZenFone 2 Laser (Php 7,695) gives the ability to customize its interface, including the launcher, themes, fonts, icons, and more. Its best feature is its camera, with 13MP, ZenFone 2 Laser can capture stunning, high resolution images with zero shutter lag and laser auto-focus technology.

I am lucky to take home and try an ASUS ZenFone Selfie (Php 11,995).
Made for selfies, the ZenFone Selfie has 13 Megapixel back AND FRONT cam for clearer and better quality photos. Plus, the phone has a shortcut to camera mode: just create an S-shaped swipe to its locked screen!
ZenFone Selfie has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 display--which gives the phone twice the drop-damage resistance of its predecessor and 2.5x retained strength, and is 85% less likely to break in daily use!
Other innovations of the ZenFone Selfie:
1) Great low-light performance, light sensitivity is up to 4x better, creating quality pictures even in dark and shaded areas.
2) Front and back flash photography.
3) Selfie Panorama mode, supports macro photography, etc. Generally, it's a good quality camera phone, so you don't have to bring you camera during events!
4) Longer battery life.
And of course, the phone is very cute!
