OPPO F1: Selfie Expert Camera Phone

OPPO knows what I need right now: A camera fit for my lifestyle. I am struggling between just using a phone vs buying a mirrorless camera for my events for the past weeks, considering budget, quality, and "commuter friendly" (lightweight, not takaw pansin).

So say hello to OPPO's latest release for the year: the OPPO F1.

The OPPO F1, dubbed as the "Selfie Expert", has 8 megapixels, with a front camera that features 84-degree-wide angle camera lens with f/2.0 aperture, and a ¼-inch sensor that allows 40 percent more light to enter the camera than an f/2.4 aperture lens. Very technical, but to make it simpler it was built to produce fantastic pictures.

For your selfie, it comes with Beauty 3.0+ and eight various filters, which brighten the skin and remove blemishes, and a display that can double as flash in low-light environments.

The rear camera is equally amazing, with a 13-megapixel sensor, f/2.2 aperture lens, Pure Image 2.0+ features, and a number of customizations to fit the user’s photo needs.

Impressed yet?

It is also easy to fall in love with its elegant aesthetic, available in Gold and Rose Gold. Aside from style, users are also guaranteed with quality, with its fine and delicate smoothening of zircon and sand blasting create a back cover that has a velvet-like softness despite being made of metal. The 5-inch HD screen is protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass coating and aluminum housing.

Under the hood is a power-packed octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC with four cores at 1.7GHz and four cores at 1.2GHz, Adreno 204 GPU, and 3GB RAM that runs OPPO’s ColorOS 2.1 as smoothly as possible.
