I got this E-Invitation for the first Philippine Fashion Ball few weeks ago from Ed:

I was super duper excited to attend a formal occasion with a strict dress code, tapos with my blog friends pa! Parang prom lang! At this age...naexcite talaga ako mag gown uli!

Lack of budget and time though led me to purchase my outfit THE DAY of the ball itself. Haha. Hanggang sa shoppingan, crammer ako! I already have pegs pa naman, di ko na nafollow hay. :P Next time! :)

So anyway, I went to the mall early to buy my "back-up" gown, formal shoes (I can't believe I don't have decent formal pairs at home! ;P), and a clutch (like the shoes, I don't own a single formal bag haha). Sobrang gahol na sa time, so I opted for a red clutch and pumps, and a black silk jumpsuit na pwedeng maka-underdress sa occasion. Bahala na! ;p

Original gown that I was supposed to wear that night:

Borrowed the black and white gown my highschool kabarkada Geo wore 3 years ago for her sister's debut. :) Ganda sana, but it was "not me". ;p Still brought it with me in case wala akong mabili! :)

Dahil parehas kaming malayo sa Makati, Krissy and I booked in a small hotel near Greenbelt. It was my first time to stay in LPL Suites, and I was impressed! Mura siya, and THE BEST pa sa location: Tawid lang ng Zara Greenbelt 5! :D

Ate's huge belt, bronze cuff, Anagon statement onyx neckpiece, and my just-bought red "egg clutch"-- also spotted in SM!

Had late lunch with Krissy in Tokyo Tokyo GB1 before we prepared for the night:

Liguan, bihisan, and waited for Tamems when we got back in our hotel. Tamems did my makeup! :)
