Sagada Day 3 - Going Home

Friday, March 08, 2013

Always, anxiety attacks ang dulot pag pa-end na ng trip. Palaging "Sheeet last day naaaa!!!" So kahit na you made the most out of the trip already (sulit na sulit na lahat ng gastusing transpo, tours, accommodation!)...mas lulubusin mo pa yung remaining hours niyo in the place.

For Sagada, we had our final meal in...Strawberry Cafe uli! ;D Hahaha!

Of course I can't go home ng walang final serving of the freshest strawberry yogurt ever! Super miss ko na sha ngayon. :p

It was a beautiful day to travel, walang ulan unlike the night na we went there. Maliban sa ilang misfortunes like may nasagasaan si Kuya Driver na dog, and napatay niya and hanggang ngayon dinidibdib ko ang pangyayaring yun. :p We left Sagada around 9am, reached Baguio several hours later (I think mga 4 hours)...but instead of eating lunch there, naisipan na naming iwasan yung nabubuong traffic due to Panagbenga Festival goers.

Had stop overs here and there, for CR breaks na natrauma na daw si Tracy (haha):

And to check out this beautiful view:

Potek bat ako nakapikit! Haha!

Highest Point!

We also went to the Strawberry Farm in Benguet for pahabol pasalubong shopping:

Strawberry Fields Forever!

Alamna!

I love the marketplace, and super mura pa ng gulay! Tamad na tamad lang ako that time mamili dahil marami narin akong dala--bought strawberries and bottled jams nadin naman in Sagada. Took the time to stroll around nalang muna, before another hours stuck inside our cramped van uli. Dumami pa ang dala namin, so lesser legroom. :p

Aside from the preserves and fruits, I also got these funny hats in Sagada! :) I don't know when or where I'll wear them, pero I got them nadin dahil mura. Biro mo P350 lang for everything!

I also took home lots of photos! Best souvenir? Definitely!

We were on the road from 9am till around 11pm. Hindi ako maubus-ubusan ng tulog! I was telling Tracy nung asa NLEX na kami, with only our phones as our lights and snacking on leftover Pocky and Chicharap, na baka when we reach Manila, magtrabaho nako kaagad. With just few days of vacation, ang dami ko nang pending orders and got demanding notices nadin via text. I can't blame them, though. Tracy made me listen to new music (new to me, that is), and told me some kwentos which made me forget about the anxieties. Slept for the rest of the byahe. When we reached our first stop, which is in Quezon Ave, I went down the van narin and said a rushed goodbye na to my travel buddies. I decided to take the Alabang bus narin from there. Things stressed me out din because of the hours on the road and personal issues, but naayos narin naman na ang lahat. And "at the end of the day" (pardon the use of this cliche), ang important talaga in travelling is to relish the new, to learn more about yourself, and to make things worth remembering because it may only happen once and never again.

Till the next adventure!
