PhFW SS2014: LEE

Thursday, October 31, 2013

The Lee Spring-Summer 2014 Collection displayed reengineered construction paired with experimental treatment to conventional denims. SM Mall of Asia Atrium was transformed to simulate the streets of New York (complete with vintage car set-up!) and put the audience at the heart of the scene.

Sorry for the lack of photos, the catwalk's twist and turns and unpredictable choreography of the models made it difficult to document the whole going-ons. To view the different clothes for Lee SS2014, you may check out LEE's Facebook.

What I love most about the show is how the brand recognized raw talent by letting participating students showcase their craft through the Lee Style Army 2013 competition. Meanwhile, the fashion show's "Brooklyn style" set-up (although gave the photographers an extra-challenge) lent every audience the chance to be in the "front row". Everybody grasped the collection in full details--only a few brands put this into consideration.
