Check-in

Had a great opportunity last weekend to be part of the Manila Hotel Red Bloggers line-up. I was prepared for an early check-in para masulit ang howtel experience, but parang namang both the rain and Manila's bad traffic ay nagkampihan against me.

I reached the good ol' Taft Avenue round 3ish na ng hapon, but the worst part was walang cab na nagpapasakay sa akin (ayaw nila kumita, lol). So I walked. Bilang walker narin naman ako, and hindi ako mapakali just waiting for a transpo that will take me to Manila Hotel--tiniis ko nalang. :p #KMN

Beautiful rain photos by Paul! Captured ang desired rain-drama effect!

We were welcomed to Manila Hotel with a neat basket of chocolates and this cutie bear wearing bowtie and suit. For the most part of the afternoon before our event highlight (Dancing at the Maynila) of ballroom dancin'---I just rested and blogged and maximized my room's double TV (meron pati sa CR, winnerrr!).

I am excited to kwento the other Manila Hotel Red Bloggers experience.. And this hotel's old charm that sobrang captivated me. But separate post nalang siguro. For now, let me share the Thursday night traffic tragedy that happened to me and my blog friends, haha! Stuck in Paul's car for hours brought out another level of crazy in our group, lol. Hi Sarah, Ava, Tracy, and Paul!!!

Documentation Queen! Hahaha! We had stopovers in Mini Stop, and then rerouted to an unfamiliar place (for me) to look for a gas station bilang nagwawarning na ang tangke ng sasakyan namin, hahaha. Ok di nakakatawa yun that time! ;p Sadly, we weren't able to reach the Freeway event, but sobrang adventure lang. In all fairness naman, business ideas, sing-along, and joke time overload kami while on da road, to the point na nasepanx kami when we have to part ways and rest and go home na to our own houses. Fun, long night--it wasn't a tragedy after-all.
