I started to reminisce and even think about my grade school classmates when I got an invitation from Kitkat to have a break and watch the Backstreet Boys Concert last May 5. How was our section's "Nick Carter", "Kevin", "Brian", "AJ", and "Howie" doing? Will they also be watching the concert? Are they going to watch it together?
On the day of the concert, I came from the Havaianas luau-themed event so I made sure may baon akong pamalit. Very 90s, I wore my Red classic Giordano tee (the one with the small man logo), a straight jeans, and my Birkenstock--I was ready to party as if I was 10 years old again!
Grade 5 Anagon can never afford this ticket, thank You Lord for this! If dati nanyari to, I would have relied on MTV / Vevo replay, Tiger Beat, or my walkman for BSB sound trip, hehe.
It was my first time to enter and watch in the MOA Arena's Premier Suites. The place looks comfortable and sosyal. Nico, opening Kitkat's cozy suite for us:

More snacks at the counter, hi Cords! I brought my college blockmate with me to the concert because she's a big BSB fan! Nasira niya ang audio ng Arena with her screams, haha!
The sold-out concert was a blast! They sang all their hits + songs from their new album. What I love most about the Backstreet Boys is how they connect with the crowd after every song. Unlike some of the concerts I've been to, these boys know how talkies and audience participation can affect the over-all concert experience. Ang dami nilang hirit!
Nick: "We only have a couple of rules. Number 1, we want you to go crazy, of course. And number 2, we want you to act like you're 15 years old!"
AJ: "But if you have a cellphone, which I know you do, turn that light on! Wow, it's so bright here, it's a night sky in here tonight!"
You can see that they are really good friends - no wonder Backstreet is still alive and kicking for more than 2 decades. Best-selling boy band, indeed!
As Long As You Love Me... Tandang tanda ko pa ang music video na ito, ilabas ang fedora and chairs please! :D Pati nadin ang long "boy band hair" ni Nick, haha!
Ang daming reference from their prime years! Dalang-dala talaga ako! I also enjoyed their choreographed dance moves, ang swabe padin! Tilian ang mga gals beside me, haha!
