TW Steel, the BIGTIME watch brand from Amsterdam, has welcomed an exciting fashion statement: Blue Steel. And what better way to celebrate this than with a special VIP screening of Ben Stiller’s and Owen Wilson’s movie sequel, Zoolander 2.0!

The event was held at the EDSA Shangri-La Plaza Cinema, to highlight the latest Blue Steel Canteen watches in Manila.
The Blue Steel is set to take the world-famous Canteen Style into a bolder and more prominent stance in the fashion industry. The revamped canteen collection, featuring 45mm and 50mm case sizes, will come in three variance: 3-hand, Chronograph and Automatic. As with the 2015 collection, each of the watches is distinctive with the 3-Hand executions incorporating a shiny bezel and mid-pieces on the bracelet. The Chronograph editions sport a tachymeter on the bezel while showcasing a brushed steel bracelet. Finally, the Automatic timepieces have a hammered bezel and hammered mid-pieces on the bracelet for a stylish and trendy look.
The event was attended by some of the country’s most fashionable people, members of the media, lifestyle bloggers, and VIP customers of TW Steel who have supported and patronized the brand since its arrival in Manila in 2008.

In addition to the different sizes, movements and design, the Blue Steel watches will carry varying colors adding to the wide-range of possible designs. The options include a Steel bracelet, a PVD Rose Gold bracelet and a 2-tone edition: a combination of Steel with a PVD Rose Gold finish on the mid-piece of the bracelet.
From the iconic TW Steel canteen design and the iconic Derek Zoolander Blue Steel pose, it is safe to say that an oversized design and attitude are more than just a trend. Blue Steel is here to stay and it is all about making a statement.
