For a commuter, everyday is an adventure. It's one thing that I commute during my travels, but count in my daily bus-jeep-tric-train-grab hopping and call me the epitome of an Urbanite.
Now here's a brand that I recently just learned about that speaks right through me. URBANIZE gears us up to be #UrbanReady and #UrbanBrave by equipping us with products with FASHION AND FUNCTION.
The Venue:
During the event last October 27, the invited bloggers first met up in MELT, UPTown BGC for lunch and chit chats. We were served with dishes upon dishes, all containing CHEESE much to my pleasure! Everything's good!

The Challenges!
To make the event even more exciting, we were grouped into three groups with four members to face three Urbanize challenges! I was groupmates with Marga, Joana, and Jeanne - Girl Power! Hehe!
With game face on, we ran back to Melt for the first challenge:
The first one was to create a flatlay with all these essentials, take a photo and upload on Instagram. Here's what our group came up with in a span of less than 15 minutes!

The second challenge was to upload a Boomerang photo to showcase the durability of the Hydrapak® collapsible water bottle:
And lastly, and also a good challenge so we can take our group photos, we were given less than 15 minutes to pick one item per person inside the store, and have a mini photo shoot within the mall vicinity. This was a fun part even with the time constraints!

The Talk with Sir Francis Kong
Not only to equip us physically, Urbanize invited a great businessman and speaker Sir Francis Kong to equip us with LIFE. His talk was practical and inspiring. And he also gave away his books to a few lucky winners!

As for the challenges, guess who won!? Our group bagged the first place, yehey! I am so proud to take with me this Urbanize backpack during my La Union trip last long weekend. It reminded me not only how motivated I was during the Urbanize event, but also on how years of city dwelling taught me to become more patient, more curious, more emphatic and generally become a better person.
