I completely forgot to post this! It was already in my drafts, but another weekend went by so fast, natabunan na siya, boo! :P
Anyway, on our last night in Dos Palmas, I intentionally waited for the clock aka my cellphone time to strike 12. Meaning, birthday na ni Ana! :)
We just came from our massage sesh, and super lakas na ng ulan (at least last night na namin dun)...We decided to stay in our house and watch a movie or series in her laptop. Gusto ko sana Hachiko, para mahirit ko sa huli na "Kamusta kaya yung statue ni Hachi sa Japan! Wah!", but Ana didn't want us to watch something that I've already seen (and more than once pa, haha)...So after viewing some of the movies in her selection, we ended up watching Glee...Britney Spears episode kasi kinanta ko yung Sometimes nung videoke namin the other night, haha!
Nung March 15 na! Yehey! Opening of gip!
We slept afterwards, and when we woke up super early morning to prepare for our boat sched / early breakfast... The Dos Palmas group heard my "surprise my friend" request the night before (while Ana was out of sight during our dinner buffet, I talked with one of the staff)...
They gave a mañanita in our room!
Buti nalang nasa CR si Ana nun (right next to our door)...Kung tulog siya, baka hindi niya narinig yung surprise, hahaha!
They sang the birthday song (Super dami nila nun, even our diving instructor was there haha! Ang fail ko lang with taking their picture! Hay!!!).......

....And gave her this sweet cake. <3 :)
After breakfast, check out na kaagad... =(
Still raining that day...
The gloomy weather made it more sad for me to go, hay! :P They even played a nice ethnic tune for us, send-off ba! :(
We slept most of the time in our "parang duyan lang" boat ride (super lakas ng hangin / ulan). The other parts when we were awake, we took some more photos!
Ganda ng hair, Ana!
They even gave this cute artwork made of leaves to us! Nakakatouch na talaga!
Since we were a few hours early for our plane ride, we decided to hangout again in Itoy's
Ate again when we boarded the plane...
And, as blogged earlier, watched How Do You Know when we reached Greenbelt. :)
Belated happy birthday Ans! Hope you enjoyed your birthday, kahit 2 lang tayo, haha! We hated to say goodbye to Dos Palmas, but we will surely be back there in no time! :) Swear...mas matagal pang stay! Haha! I remembered a quote I got from my friend Macy after posting this in Facebook:
I think I have a problem with going on vacation/out of town trip...Hirap na hirap ako mag reorient with real world once I'm back home hahahah :D
NOTE: Picture Overload. Don't open if you're hungry!
Here is the main reason why I sulked the moment I got back here in Manila: No food beats the ones served to us in Dos Palmas! Just looking at the photos...gawd!!!! Gutom na gutom nakoooo!!!
FIRST DAY:
Lunch
Since this was my first "taste" of their buffet, super nag overeat ako! Inoverestimate ko capacity ko sa food...Hahaha! I went for second serving of the palabok (no chicharon, lots of garlic!) kahit busog nako, only to find out hindi ko na kaya after my first subo! Haha!
Salad area! :D
Also, I was super duper pleased na they served SO MUCH gulay...
Ana: "They heard us!"
Haha...Oh the keme of being a vegetarian! :P I'm just glad the people closest to me doesn't question my "authenticity". I've heard a lot.. But for next entries na ang kwentong iyon, hehe.
Dinner
There were three groups lang during dinner time of our first day--a big cute German family, a couple, and kami ni Ana--mga kalokohang sistahs! So instead of a buffet set-up, I love that they served full course dinner to us by the pool. Ang ganda ng set-up, fairytale! Nakakatawa lang I wasn't expecting that they will serve us the complete "the works"--Akala ko yun appetizer yun na yun, yun pala may salad pa, kanin at ulam, dessert, eycheteyra! :P
I love this soup!!! Distinct taste that I will never ever forget! Haha!
I love it...Hindi lang shrimp tempura ang sinerve, they mixed it with VEGETABLE tempura! <3
Just a little trivia: Kung ako vegetarian, si Ana hindi kumakain ng gulay. So we have to finish our own "assigned foods" all to ourselves. Haha! Nilafang ko lahat ng kagulayan, hahaha! Kahit dekorasyon ng plato, mind you. Hahaha!
I LOVE the crepe! Too full, but I still tried to finish this with Ana!
Drank 2-3 tasa of kape every meal. Lagi kong excuse: Ang liit kasi ng cup. But actually, it was because super busog ako!
SECOND DAY
Breakfast
All I can say is - wala parin akong papigil sa kain! Parang hindi nabusog from last night, just because I love that they served different foods, at hindi paulit ulit! I love the mashed potatoes! Hindi siya instant lang, at hindi kailangan ng gravy para sumalap. :P
Didn't attempt getting breads and pancakes na...
My friend and I realized we didn't even tried the juices. Mas water pala talaga kami!
They have assorted cereals too. Pahealthy lang kaya I got one serving of this, fiber ba.
Lunch
This was when they took us to a private island, to experience a special "picnic lunch" by the sea...All to ourselves. :)
Ang DAAAMING gulay, akala talaga gutumin ako, hahaha!
Dinner
I think eto pinaka FAVORITE kong buffet! I just love PASTA, mongolian, the pumpkin soup, and maki rolls. It was also our last night, so super naenjoy and inappreciate ko siya! Hehe! :)
LAST DAY - Breakfast
Super nakakadepress! Hahaha! Knowing last time na namin sa Dos Palmas buffet! :P Didn't get to eat a lot din, super nagmamadali na since we have to be aware of our boat, van, and flight schedules. Still, winner parin yung foods they served to us!
I love the egg station! :) Cheese + Mushroom Omelette!
That's it pansit!!! The moment I got home, egg nalang ulam ko--ako pa nag prito. Wala nang unlimited brewed coffee, at taga-salin ng tubig sa baso (hehe). At instead of palabok, pansit canton nalang pagkain ko, hahaha! I it's the world's way of saying: time for dyeta na daw uli! ;) HAH! :)
