Not sure if this is my last Kdrama fan meeting in Manila for this year, but I am so so happy with the ticket I got and the whole experience. I was still deadbeat tired from attending a full concert in Bulacan the night before (BLACKPINK), but still powered through Sunday and arrived in Cubao with a bit of time to eat dinner and check out the happenings outside New Frontier Theater.

Introduction: The K-Pop Fan's Pilgrimage
For K-Pop fans, visiting Korea isn't just a trip but a pilgrimage. From attending K-Pop concerts and music shows, to visiting entertainment agencies in Gangnam, to joining cup sleeve events that celebrate your favorite idols' birthdays or anniversaries, to shopping in streets overflowing with albums and official merch — Seoul is the ultimate destination for fans.

I have a running joke that 80% of my salary goes to my fangirling. It's always a funny icebreaker when I meet new friends at fan conventions and concerts. From the never-ending merch releases to concerts and traveling to see our idols, this lifestyle consumes not only a fan girl's time and heart but also our finances!
In my 8 years of loving Kdramas, I realized that my Fan Girling Love Language is buying merch. Official, unofficial, you name it. I express how much I love a show by buying things that remind me of its amazing storyline and characters.
My recent "haul" is from the Kdrama Lovely Runner starring Byeon Woo-seok as Ryu Sun-jae and Kim Hye-yoon as Im Sol. I am so IN LOVE with this Kdrama. Episode 1 palang, it had an impact na on me especially as a fan girl. I realized how much you can "stan" a group even though it means not seeing them live because adulting gets in the way. Grabe, she has to go to a job opportunity! I like how she prioritized that, sobrang responsible fan girling! Then even though she lost her ticket on the way back to the venue, she still stayed outside, very Patron Saint of Team Labas.. And then waved her light stick up in the air, hand on her heart. Huhu! I felt that.
Key takeaway: Not seeing your faves does not mean you're less of a fan.
But anyway, sharing some of the merch I got for my "Lovely Runner Era". :) Again, just a reminder that not having all the merch does not make you less of a fan, too! :) Enjoy lang, and no to toxic fan girling!
Just keep running, man!
The most-watched reality game show on Philippine TV in 2022, "Running Man Philippines," is back on GMA Network for a more hilarious, entertaining, and fun-filled season.

A few weeks ago, I found myself heading to a nightclub--which I haven't been going to in years. What excited me then was seeing one of the WOOGA Squad members (a group of friends of famous South Korean actors and K-pop celebrities, including Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, Choi Woo Shik, Peakboy, and V of BTS).
Anyway, what I loved about this event is that the venue was very intimate; we partied to K-pop songs in a bar setting, and I also met fellow Korea enthusiasts. Everything was fun, good vibes, and chill. I wish we had more events like this in Manila so we fan girls can all hangout together!
Sharing the pictures sent to us from the VIP Party of Airplay Manila. We played this trivia game where every time we got a correct answer, we also had a chance to take pictures with the guest artists! I just save and dropped all the pictures where I am included lol in this post so it's easier to look back on this day in the future hehe!
