DAY 13: A photo of your best friend:

Meet my best friend since high school Myey. =) Searched for an old photo so I don't have to post pics from recent get-together, which I might have blogged in here already. This was during one of the debuts of our classmate, I think it was Pattiecol though I am not so sure. I miss having to attend one debut after another...sometimes even 2x in a day! ;p I love that we have to dress up and attend big parties with friends and get to eat really good food and be entertained with cheese-max presentations and surprise numbers for the celebrant! ;D Haha! Oh to be 18 again! If only I turn 18 in this really fashionista times, where there are more varieties of a formal ensemble! =) Hiihii!

I made this in advance coz I know tomorrow is my bazaar, and never did I went home after a selling stint that I wasn't tired and beat up! ;p Hope when I post this tomorrow, I am happy, as well as my pockets, hehehe!

30 DAYS OF PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORIES (whole list)

Flower Children and Bazaar Prep.

Some photos of the prettiest and easy-to-work-with models CJ and Chesca . My dilemma awhile ago was whether to post them already in my online shop (selling the clothes, hats, accessories!), or to finish my bazaar first this weekend! :D Anyway, time decided things for me, and before I knew it..there's no more time to post in my online shop! ;p

I love the photos! They're taken by Mimi See, assisted by sibling Andrew See who is also a make up artist. We all helped with the styling! =) I think the team did a great great job, loveit!

Whole day was spent fixing stuff to bring, which I categorized into three:
1. Display - coz a poor table and racks will affect your sales
2. Cash Register - or an improvised one: a desk for my packaging, my notebook, tools like stapler, scissors, plies, and for my phone and camera and all my other things that I just can't leave around. ;p What is packrat?
3. Storage - for stocks, coz I can't display everything. Who can display all their stocks in a 3x3 space, which is divided pa since I am only on booth-share ;p Hehe!

I cleaned up an old stereo/speakers desk with layers, it's a small one compared to my Cuenca long table, but I guess the layers will hold the other stuff. I am not super OC, but on these things I can't help but be one! ;p

Other than wiping the dusty racks I'll use (been awhile since I used them! ;))...I also watched the last episode of Wowowee. It was actually sad, you know, even after it became korny or whatever term you'll describe it the past months...that noontime show was a big part of my afternoon routine--back when Showtime was still non-existent. The whole set was teary eyed when they sang Wowowee classics like Boom Tarat and the finale, singing Ikaw Na Nga as tribute to their main host.. They can't even deliver their daily spiels without breaking down. Nakakaawa!
Also, I'll actually miss it! The downfall of a TV show that I actually thought before wouldn't end, srsly!

And oh, it's currently raining, which is scaaaaarrrry! Last time I had a bazaar in Mega Tent Pasig was for the Candy Fair and it was also raining exactly like this the day before....And the storm continued the next day, which was b-t-w infamously became known as THE Bagyong Ondoy. ;p Sana tumila na ulan tomorrow!!!

See you at the Port88 Bazaar tomorrow!!! =)
Rain or Shine! :) :) :) Wish me luck!!!!

DAY 12: A photo of you:

Ok, so I chose this minute photo (back when I wasn't aware that resizing pics = damaging =p) because it shows my first bazaarista stint ever, circa 2006 in St. Scho Manila for their family day. Business was barely a month yet, when I got invited by my sister who was still in her senior high school there...Glad I took the risk, even though it meant re-meeting my professors as a seller/designer haha...Made customized wire accessories for the students on-the-spot, and earned a few bucks which in a way encouraged me to pursue this business. =)

Hope to see you on my nth bazaar tomorrow at the Port88 Ready, Set, Sale! :) Praying for a good business!!!

"Singit"

29.7.10

Or "Saling Kit" - terms in our language that refer to sticking your butt on things that you aren't really included or part of..Hahaha!

Anyway, on our UST photo shoot last Saturday, I threatened and forced our photographer/stylist team Mimi and Andrew (hahahaa) to also take profile photos of yourztrulee after they're done with my two models. Kidding aside, I really want to take advantage of this opportunity of having to hold photo shoots for my online shop, by not letting go of these talented teams without having my own photo op!

So along with the post-processed pictures of my models (which I'll post in my site, and also blog about soon! :))...Here are some pics Mimi sent to me just yesterday. =) Something different from my dressy play shoot with CJ weeks ago...I love both sets! :)

Andrew did my make up--giving me make up tips while we're on it! :D Iloveit! :-)

In front of the main building with my silly smile

Flying hair effect, hah!

Giant UST, I finally have photos with ya! ;D (di ka nga lang buo, haha)

Granite background haha

What I wore that day: Trying out the trend which I fondly call the socks-look ;p

I don't know what pose to create--and did a majoy blooper hahaha! :D

Lastly, but not the last of my gazillion pictures that I wouldn't upload anymore just to save my face hahaha...my Peace Love photo! ;-)

Smile! :) Have a goood mid-week! :-)

DAY 11: A photo of your favorite film:

I have sooo many favorite films! :D I've been watching at least once a week--latest, missed out, or a repeat...Coz movies are the biggest and easiest escape from reality! =) A weekly dose of inspiration from artists all-over collaborating to create something magical, or something real--and place it in a boxed silver screen!

So when "favorite film" is asked, I can't actually decide on-the-spot! I love the current hit Inception. But I also love old hits/classics. I love films that made me laugh, or even the ones that made me teary eyed. Local, Hollywood, and Foreign films: I root for them all. But I noticed that every time I'm asked about favorite films--I'll "instinctively" reply Moulin Rouge! I'll never get over this wild film--from it's colors/texture, soundtrack, actors, and the story of Satine and the penniless writer. :) <3

DAY 10: A photo of you as a baby:

Sorry for not making an effort to look for a "more baby" baby photo ;) Plus, I still have to scan/take a photo of it..sooo lazy today, Haha! I just searched for the first picture I have in my old social networking sites...And found THIS! :) Me, still looking as Anagon as ever! ;) Chinky eyed, chubby, crooked teeth, straight hair and all. ;p

Not that I'm saying nothing's changed! ;p Haha! Dyed my hair lots of times, and changed eye color for more than 4 years already (hahaha). Still, you'll see me and you'd say the smile didn't change. :p

Anyhooo...so the cause of the lazy bones is my preparation for an upcoming bazaar this Saturday and Sunday! I don't usually join bazaars outside the BER months...coz I've done that before and people don't really buy. But then, I think times changed and people are more magastos (spends alot) when it comes to fashion! It's the Fashion Era, in my own opinion. Like before, everyone wants to have a band, now everyone wants to be a fashionista, or own a boutique, or just own a Chanel. Haha! So yah, if you're from the Philippines, and you have time, do drop by the Port88 Ready, Set, Sale! Bazaar:

Look for my hippie happy stall, ok?? :) Hope to see you thereee! ;)

DAY 9: A photo of your family

This is most probably the latest COMPLETE family picture I have in my Face Book: Dad's birthday last April! ;p We seldom take pics (altogether) on random occasions *sigh*...The same as we seldom go on an out-of-town trips these days! We're still pretty tight as a family, but the crisis that stumped us years ago made us more thrifty, I guess...to think individually we go on our own trips abroad, and gimmicks with friends like dining out or watching a movie or two weekly!

That's my ultimate dream for the Gonzales family, which I always tell my closest friends: That we may be able to go out of the country again, or a beach trip! :) Just like during my childhood! :)
