After the hustle and bustle of the week, I make sure I drop everything come weekend. That way, Anagon does not become a dull girl. Hehe! Last Friday was spent on a scheduled meet up with Lyks, my college friend who is in her fourth year in law school...whom I haven't seen since early this year! :P

We were a bit late for our coffee date because of Makati's unbearable traffic lately (The Magallanes oil issue? Christmas? Rush hour? Rain?)...but we managed to still catch up in Starbucks inside MakeRoom, Glorietta 3.

Perfect because it was raining. Over my tall hot Peppermint Mocha (non-fat, no whip please!), Lyka and I talked non-stop to catch up on lost time. I really missed this girl. We were inseparable back in senior college! :P
Friday also marked my first sticker for this year's Starbucks Planner. I knoooow...I always complain of being tempted with this whole collecting craze, only ending up not using the heavy planner anyway. But you know what, whenever I hear that the Toffee Nut Latte, Peppermint Mocha, and Praline Mocha are available again in Starbucks, WOW..I can't help but feel that Christmas has finally arrived. This thing is already a tradition! :D
Good marketing strategy by Starbucks? I guess so, haha! But I love coffee, so I shouldn't be complaining! As the inside flap of this year's promo card says: "A story for every cup"---
---And so my first cup and first story for Christmas 2010 is with a good friend. Oh yes we do not see each other as often as before, but God knows how much I value the friendship I built with my college sidekick Lyka. =)
