Today I searched for Christmas.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

I am a person who gets affected easily, which sucks, haha. After reading too much about people not feeling Christmas, plus being home alone just spoils the mood, I can't help it, I cannot feel Christmas! :P But I'm trying, because I know that this takes some conscious effort!

Kahit negative vibes, I just wanna feel Christmas! :) Kaya I'm making an effort to make everything festive!!! Tatlong tulog nalang YIPEEE!

So today I decided to go out to search for Christmas.

I wanna feel the Christmas pressures so Im going out and get myself drowned in the busy malls! haha!

And I told myself that I just have to be thankful.

Ok di na ako magrereklamo, yung iba nga papasok pa ng school. Heheheh

I spent HOURS in Festival Mall's Shopwise grocery to buy pahabol gifts and handa. So many people in the mall, indeed! But still:

Mall for 8 hours already!felt the Christmas rush, but where's the 'spirit'?i think i need to participate in an outreach program or something...

After circling Festival Mall's shops, department stores, and groceries (I tell you, they have LOTS, ang saya dito hehe), with lunch and coffee breaks in between, at around 9pm and still no signs of my parentals, I decided to call it a day, settle in a small coffee-bread shop, and just wait there. I wouldn't stop spending if I continue strolling around!!! There I saw individuals, families, barkadas, carrying paper bags and paper bags of goodies--a mix of high end and masa brands. I even spotted a lady in her 40s who bought most of the tig-P100 tops in a nearby store! :D

Now i appreciate the boxed then wrapped presents i received before from my titasü pinaghirapan!ü

I was sipping my coffee when I noticed that I was next to a kiosk filled with people trying to search for good buys. I scanned the mall and actually saw people trying to get something--whether for themselves or for their family and friends amidst the crowds and chaos. Amidst the really tough economy. In the spirit of Giving. Wow.

I see people actually lining up,buying stuff for loved ones mapamahal man or on sale..nakakatouch lang! Spirit of Christmas, there you are!Ü

Tell me in what form did you actually feel that Christmas is really here. :) For me, it's through expressing your love to the people who had been there for you the whole year round--or even longer. Christmas is truly "the most wonderful time of the year"--Beats birthdays a hundred times over.

Hindi ko na kailangang i-hype, pero CHRISTMAS NAAAA! HAPPY! Sabi nga nila: Sana araw-araw Pasko! :D

I know it's Christmas when invites to various get-togethers arrive! There's no better time for merry-making and reminiscing on this time of the year, especially as the New Year is also almost here :)

  5. I havent been feeling Christmas too lately but ever since today and same as you, after seeing everyone in the malls rushing to get something for the love ones even on the sale racks was such a Christmas rush for me! Makikita mo rin na even if those people you know that they don't have that much (not to judge) you'll seen na they treat their kids to jollibee and you'll see all their happy faces! And especially after this post of yours! Merry Christmas Ana!! hope you have the greatest one! :-)

That's what I wanted to point out...How people can really GIVE kahit they're really out-of-budget the whole year round..but pag Pasko, it's different, and they just want to make their family and friends feel the love! :) <3 Merry Christmas to YOU too!!! :)
