Went to the exclusive preview screening of THE VOICE, a new show which will be airing starting August 21 on AXN!

Adam Levine and Cee Lo! Are they the judges of this contest?
"Hosted by Carson Daly (Last Call with Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel’s Live!), The Voice boasts a cast of four A-list celebrity judges – Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, rapper-crooner Cee Lo Green, R&B diva Christina Aguilera and country singer Blake Shelton who have sold more than 70 million albums combined – fronting the show as coaches. They must each pick a team of eight singers from the blind auditions (where if more than one coach spins around, the contestant gets to pick) and personally mentor each of them."

"Her voice soared tremulously as she sang, her eyes fixated on the back of four big swiveling chairs, willing the judges to hit the red button and turn, just so she can get a coveted spot on the show. Such is the innovative format of The Voice where contestants are judged solely on their vocal talent, coming first and exclusively to AXN this August."

If I am a contestant, I really really wish Christina Aguilera will "turn around" and be my coach!

After which, a singing contest! Right there and then! Cool!
The whole crowd acted as the judges, turned around and will only face the contestant if they'll give their vote.
Ganda ng boses! I gave my vote sa first notes palang.
...And he won the watch!
They also raffled away branded bags and shirts, more watches, and an iPad2! Ano kaya feeling nun noh kung ako nanalo noh? Hehe!

It's only now that I've read about The Voice. parang nakakaexcite talaga yung concept, kasi sa voice lang talaga ijudge. That's great kasi diba minsan naman talaga judges look at the physical din bago nila approve. :) Will be watching this show. Great blog as always..

I'm so excited for The Voice! Adam Levine's a coach on the show. :) I saw his performance of Moves Like Jagger on The Voice (on YouTube) with Christina Aguilera. Absolutely fell even more in love with him! <3 Great concept talaga!
