Let's all shop and make cute rings at the Brown Bag Vintage & Crafts Market!

Thursday, December 08, 2011

The workshop is from 7-8pm (did you register na?), but I will also have a stall in the bazaar area from 4pm - 10pm! :)

The venue is super near Ayala Triangle (hmmm Banapple!!!!) ... So masaya din siyang dayuhin sa gabi since ang GANDA daw ng lights doon. <3 Finally makikita ko na! :)

And the bazaar's floor plan:

Interviewed the very hardworking and creative organizer of the Brown Bag Market, Ms. Nori Tolentino:

How did the idea of putting up Brown Bag Market came to you?
The idea of BBM came to me last year. I have always admired the flea markets abroad and wanted to be part of one. There are several here in our country but mostly located in QC. Since I work in Makati, I said why not organize one. That's what I did and the rest as they say is history.

Aside from organizing this bazaar, what are the other things you do?
I actually work full time as an operations supervisor for a small company. In my spare time, I also sell clothes and accessories. I also enjoy blogging and photography.

What are the different things we have to look forward to in the coming BBM?
The theme for this year is vintage and crafts market. The idea is to awaken the creative juices of everyone so we have artsy activities and we have sellers with quirky items. Its definitely not your usual bazaar.

What are the advocacy you support?
We support Green Peace, Centex Manila, and Kanlungan sa Er-Ma.

Other Earth-saving tips?
Use old newspaper as gift wrapper this year. Just place a pretty bow, or paint them. :)
