Laybare opens in Robinsons Magnolia!

I have to admit that I am veryvery iffy when it comes body hair other than yung asa ulo ko (haha). From trimming, plucking, and shaving, I've switched to waxing for years nadin, and ok siya talaga lalo for the skin (para hindi mag darken and walang bumps!). Then came the very affordable waxing salon LayBare, na first  daw when it comes to unwanted hair removal in the Philippines. With so many branches nadin all over the country, LayBare finally opens in the new Robinsons Magnolia!

Waxing Guideline:

During the press and vip launch, they made us choose any service/s na gusto namin pagawa (woot!)

Before my turn, I had piyesta (as in nakailang balik, lol) by their buffet set-up. Hindi ko alam kung dahil tense lang me, chos.

Nung turn ko na... I passed by this narrow hall with the trademark

green interiors and wood accents, like all the other LayBare branches:

I had eyebrow threading (slightly painful kahit I am used to having threading), underarm waxing (tolerable), and Brazilian!

The neat cubicle I was assigned in:

LayBare is popular for their cold sugar wax (parang clay type na made of natural ingredients namely sugar, calamansi, and honey). Sabi nila mas comfortable daw, no burns since walang heating na magaganap. The cold wax they use pa have whitening, exfoliating, and moisturizing properties, so mas bongga nga ata sa hot wax! Personally though, I am more used to hot wax so ultimate test that day (lalo sa Brazilian, haha), and infer, clean naman ang process!

Thank you Ate Snooky for making things comfy for me, haha! Chinika niya lang ako ng bongga para mawala ang attention sa pain, and nung sinabi ko "Pocha ang sakit", sabi ni Ate "Wag po kayo sisigaw a ma'am, marami pong tao sa labas." Hehehe benta si Ate!

 I love my newly shaped kilay, too! :)

Other than the great service, I think what I love the most about LayBare ay yung price range niya. Very affordable, for something na kailangang i-meynteyn at least once a month, hindi na sha mabigat sa bulsa! :)
