"Wear Something Handmade Today"

Tuesday, November 20, 2012

Here's my feeling-astig/artsy outfitey from last Friday, when I went to diff events before heading to my
first ever night-market experience as a seller (first nga ba? di ko na maalala! ;p)

Blue Checkered Men's Polo - Kelly Medina's Closet
Denim Shorts - Forever 21
Brown too-cool-for-school Boots - Kickers
White Watch - Esprit
Silver Wire Star - ANAGON
The Red Queen Pin - HOUSE OF ISLA

The CUTEST handmade pin is one of the many cool prizes I won from Aileen's House of Isla Blog
Giveaway a few weeks ago! I can't imagine winning a raffle again, kaya super saya ko! On the night when I
realized the wonders of joining blog giveaways (hahaha), I started checking out and tried joining other
people's giveaways, hahaha. Gusto ko yun mga gadgets giveaways na nauuso these days! Macheck
nga mga yan mamaya (harharhar). For now, check out these AWESOOOOME items that I got
from Aileen! Grabe, the packaging palang inspired me to work on Anagon Collection's (na husay lang
basta durable and shipping-ready, but not presentable :p). There's something about seeing things that
strike inspiration, noh? Go to Aileen Kim's BLOG and SHOP where inspiration is overflowing!

The title of this post is actually The House of Isla's tagline! Aileen resides in Baguio, while her brand
promises "no underpaid workers" and "no mass produced products". As an entrepreneur who makes
everything myself, I love The House of Isla's advocacy. I hope I can push further on this whole
handcrafted items, and even reflect it in my own style, product packaging, etcetera.

Anyway! Other than brooches, I also got cute earrings set and lace earrings!

And the highlight of the giveaway, this CUTE CUTE CUTE cat collar, made by Aileen herself! :)
Awesome right!!!?

Meanwhile, check out the happenings during the Karpos Bazaar in Mercato, Fort,
last Friday night (yeah we danced on tabletops) Nyeh!

Speaking of pure handmade thingamajigs, 3/4 of Anagon Collection's booth is now filled with things
I made myself:

The ever-supportive parentals stayed with me to help me out! :)

My bazaar visitor / entertainer / psychologist (psychologist!!!) haha--- Hippie Tracy! ;)

Na biglang nahila for a hosting gig with my papa Jeric Fortuna! Hahaha! Go guys!
