MOVE: The Fitness Lifestyle Store opens in Bonifacio Global City!
Have you been to the new area in (my favorite place) Bonifacio Global City na parang whole strip of fitness-related stores sha with the likes of Nike and Adidas, and new and interesting boutiques like the Certified Calm yoga store na nagsesell ng yoga clothes and things! :D Akk! Anyway, ang laking segue na nun haha, I want to take you to this new fitness lifestyle store: MOVE.
Pag pasok mo palang ng store, you'll see these gym equipment mixed with for-sale fitness products, na mapapaisip ka gym ba tong pinasok ko o store? :D
Well, MOVE (also from the Quorum Group of Companies, responsible for Toby's Sports, RUNNR, and urbanAthletics), aims to change the way people approach health and fitness. Quorum President Toby Claudio created a fitness lifestyle store that offers its customers a goal-based approach called the MOVE BODY PROJECT:
So when we got in the MOVE store for their media launch last Wednesday, ang unang kaharap namin ay itong In Body analyzer. Medyo trauma padin pala ako sa timbangan and can't even remember the last time I stepped on a scale, so nagpahuli pa ako before magpa analyze (haha, hay sad-sad life, I know. Lol).
Halata bang ninenerbyos ako dito? Hahaha. :( With Bff Paul:
Sarah arrived afterwards, and I told her mauna na muna sha habang humihinga muna ako. Hahaha.
Ganito kadami ang kailangan tanggalin ni Sarah before she weighed herself, HAHAHAHAHA. (tawang tawa?)
So finally, I had my turn with the body analyzer (na before, sa hospitals lang daw maaavail! So bongga din yun chance!) and as always I know na kung ano ang results (haha). Never naman ako naging perfect weight for my height, so sabi ko kay Sarah "Di naman pala depressing, sanay na." Haha. Although I am into yoga now, I know hindi healthy ang diet ko and medyo hindi ko goal ang abs although usong uso sha ngayon (hehehe). My goal before starting with Bikram is just to have a physical activity, but after this analysis thing, medyo naconscious nanaman ako with my body fats. :( Pano ko ba to sisimulan? :p
Sad face, haha! Photo from Sarah:
JAN papasok ang purpose of the FREE full-body composition analysis here in MOVE. After learning what you need to improve on, the MOVE fitness consultants will assist you in identifying your state of health (kung kailangan mo ba mag BURN, BUILD, ACTIVE, PERFORM), and help you on your fitness journey by suggesting kung ano ang right equipment and gear for you:
Categorized din the whole store and products (labeled sila if BURN, BUILD, ACTIVE, or PERFORM!) for easy navigation:
They also carry some exercise clothes, although few pieces palang and hopefully next time moremore designs! Currently, MOVE carries equipment, accessories, and apparel from Startrac, Sole, Danskin, Proteus, JK, Go Fit, Biggest Loser, TRX, Polar, Theraband, CQ-X Compression Wear, etc. Bet ni Sarah this bra-top in black with green piping:
While si Athan bet tong threadmill, hehehehe.
Ayos din daw tong weights, hehe cute:
They served healthy foods during the launch, courtesy of The Sexy Chef:
On to the program, the event's host is the sobrang funny Judha Paolo, and I told Sarah "Kilala ko yan, kasi former Candy Cutie yan!" Hehehe.
Sir Toby Claudio said that Aristotle's words Life is Movement inspired him to create the MOVE concept store.
There were several demonstrations for each "goal" BURN, BUILD, ACTIVE, PERFORM:
And they also gave out cool prizes: congrats Sarah and Noelle! :)
Ava won a MOVE yoga bag with a special slot for the mat--which she gave to me ng walang pag aalinlangan. Bibidahin ko tong moment na to in this post kasi sobrang touched ko lang! I really wanted to win the yoga bag to replace my backpack during bikram classes! :p Wah, thank you Ava!!! :) Visit her blog HERE, hehe! :)
The coolest thing about MOVE is that to show how serious they are in helping their customers get fit, MOVE provides MOTIVATION by encouraging customers to come back after 90 days to get tested again---and then rewarding them with prizes if they achieve their goal! Check out the poster above kung gano sila ka-generous! :D Visit MOVE at Two Parkade Bonifacio High Street!
Ang kulit ng paper bags nila noh? :D
