Banzai: The Great Authentic Japanese Buffet!

Monday, June 09, 2014

Hello world!

Last Saturday, I went to the Mall of Asia "By the Bay" area (across the actual mall) to experience the new Japanese buffet in town! Also owned by actor-entrepreneur Marvin Agustin, Banzai boasts to be the country's biggest all-unlimited, all-authentic Japanese buffet. I love that their price includes EVERYTHING na, from drinks to service charge.

With a seating capacity of 500, Banzai offers the widest range of Japanese food that I can think of, including teppanyaki, tempura, ramen, sushi and sashimi, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, katsudon, gyudon, soba, steak, salon, and so much more!

Ready for lunch! With Paul, Christine, and Ava:

Let these photos convince you why Banzai is the next destination for your family and friends' Japanese food trip!

Aside from the delicious, clean, and fresh food, enjoy Banzai's "A Festival of Japan", featuring costumed dancers depicting archetypes of Japanese culture such as shoguns, samurais, geishas and maikos every Fridays to Sundays, at 12:30pm, 7:30pm, and 8:30 pm. There is also "The Banzai Teppanyaki Show" featuring the 4 chefs in a teppanyaki cooking showdown and juggling of utensils, ingredients and more to the tune of Japanese music and drums.

An over-all Japan experience, this section lets the guest take pictures in Japanese costumes and interactive photo walls, complete with sound effects of a sumo wrestling match!
