WINK Laser Studio just opened their Alabang Town Center branch. We can finally avail their quality and affordable hair-free services without having to go through the traffic of SLEX / EDSA! :D Hehehe.

I decided to go for a half-leg laser procedure (P5k / session). I've been waxing my legs for years na, I feel that it's about time!
While waiting at the lobby, saw an Anagon cat's ears in one of the magazines there, hehe. :p Good times!
This was my room for the laser: neat, fuss-free, and everything's complete from sink, tissue, new razors, etcetera.

They use Permanent Hair Reduction machine Alma Soprano for my legs' Laser Hair Removal. This machine is used to achieve pain-free and hair-free procedures with the use of a Sapphire "Chill Tip" (which constantly keeps the skin cool). It also uses low energy at a high repetition to prevent any damage to the skin.
The first part: they shave the existing hair. I wax my legs for a long time na so the hair growth is not sobrang kapal nadin. I never shaved nadin! So I asked Ms. Jana if there are restrictions when it comes to laser sa legs, wala naman daw kahit hindi super kapal ang hair ok lang.
And then cold gel was applied per area (even sa toe hairs!)
The right amount of energy is set on the machine, and then the laser hand piece is directed to the target area. This is according to the heat that you can tolerate. Personally, okay naman siya sa akin even when Ms. Jana placed the machine on a higher setting (para mas effective). May onting ticklish feeling lang na actually hindi ko nadin napansin due to my intense Instagram stalking, hehehe. (They also have free WiFi in this branch, btw! ;))
And then finally, Ms. Jana just wiped off the gel and applied anti-inflammatory cream, and then I'm good to go already! For the whole half-leg process, it took around 1.5 hours to 2 hours allotment for my first visit.

Laser Hair Removal is more effective when done consistently, at around 8 sessions ideally (or more or less, depends on a person's hair growth). Hair is expected to grow back and then eventually "fall off". Then I'll need to go back na for my next session, with an interval na usually around 6 weeks.
