Sulit Stories and the New Sun Choice Rewards

Ever since umavail talaga ako ng added value from systems like cash rebates, buy-1-take-1 offers, and rewards cards, hindi ko na pinapalampas every time magka chance na makatipid or get more from what I pay for.  I will choose start-of-the-year planners with kalakip na GCs, grocery or department store point system cards... I make sure I have them lalo na when I am a regular customer din naman.

Exhibit A: I was a facial fan for a long time, and been paying around P1000 every month.  So when I learned that the clinic had an 8+4 promo, I grabbed the chance even if it means shelling out ng malaki kaagad that time. In the long run, I still saved more for technically getting 4 free facials!

Exhibit B: Booking via Ever since when I learned about this hotels website offering deals up to 50% off the hotel's published rates, I never booked accommodations anywhere else. In travels or even staycations, I can just use the money I saved for shopping or for food!

Exhibit C: Opening sale…

Long and Plaid + Shutting Down

Solo post for my favorite trip OOTD wearing two pieces I bought in Taiwan: the plaid red robe from Raohe Night Market and my dream Adidas classics from ABC Mart. I am living my little Pinterest dreams by being able to wear things na I can only imagine (or pin! Hehe) in this microsite... But here I am weather-appropriate! Di kelangan mag tiis ganda with triple-layering lol.

TaiwAnagon Day 4

I've been noticing lots of Taiwan posts in my contacts lately, which made me wish talaga that I can easily transport there now na! :p Anyway, the few days I stayed in Taiwan felt like just one looong day with no time to rest, more time to explore. Minsan lang naman to, so everyday was jam-packed talaga!
Day 4 started with OOTD c/o Ate, haha! Ang tiyaga niya, mabuti nalang! Four shots lang, Ate! ang linya ko, lol! This was taken when we were waiting for our breakfast in the must-try takeout food stall "Hot Star" in our area (Ximending). I was already wearing the long polka dots blazer I bought in Raohe Night Market the other night.

Gatsby 7th Dance Competition Philippine Finals 2014

So sad that I wasn't able to watch this event when I had to leave for Taiwan with my sister. Anyway, saw all the posts on Gatsby 7th Dance Competition Philippine Finals last November 15 in Market! Market!'s activity center. Didn't know that it's just part of an even bigger competition.. Coz the winners will be sent to Tokyo, Japan in March 2015 to represent the country! :D
Was really hoping to finally see my bro perform live! Blogger and dear friend Miko Carreon for St. Benilde's Romancon Crew!
Pre-event, they have booths where you can avail free haircut just by availing any Gatsby product, bongga!
Of course, the performers received last minute hair retouch before sila nasalang sa stage! Saw these photos in Sarah's blog:
The Gatsby Dance Competition is divided into 2 categories: Open College Division (small crew) and College Crew Division (big crew). This event is held yearly, and the winners (aside from competing abroad) also receive cash prizes and the chanc…

TaiwAnagon Day 3

I can go on and on how I can't imagine wearing this and that in Manila--lalo na when I am out and about in hardcore commute. Anyway, the few days I stayed in Taiwan was an opportunity to experiment with fashion without being weather-inappropriate or looking weird

Scrooge the Musical @ Greenbelt 1 Onstage

A perfect timing, Repertory Philippines presents the perfect show for the holidays: Scrooge The Musical!
A Leslie Bricusse musical adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens on the biggest Christmas KJ and grump Ebenezer Scrooge, the play is about how this old man went through a profound experience of redemption over the course of Christmas Eve. It's definitely a classic tale of how Mr. "Bah Humbug" was visited by his former partner Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Kids and adults will surely have all have a grand time with this timeless piece, and feel love, kindness, and Christmas more after watching the play.
Be inspired and fall in love with this production's lovely set and cast. The best part for me? The songs adapted in the play are the heart-warming and very familiar Jose Mari Chan hits from every Pinoys' favorite holiday album Christmas In Our Hearts! I almost cried during Tiny Tim's This Beautif…

Under Armour’s Touchdown in Megamall

A few months after launching its first-ever Southeast Asia brand store in Bonifacio High Street, the US-based performance footwear and apparel brand continued its momentum in the market with the recent opening of the new store in SM Megamall. The  launch was attended by high profile celebrities and fitness enthusiasts, all ready to welcome Under Armour’s expansion in the country with an afternoon of jam-packed activities. Included in the prestigious guest list are One FC Fighter Brandon Vera, US Olympian for Volleyball David McKenzie, and Vice Mayor Francis Zamora.

“Opening in Megamall is a natural step for the brand’s expansion in the Philippines,” said Carlos Maza, Senior Director, New Markets, Under Armour. “The response to our brand from athletes in the Philippines has been tremendous and we look forward to increasing our presence throughout the country.”
Under Armour is distributed in the Philippines through an exclusive partnership with Triple Pte. Ltd. Aesthetically, this new …

Latest ZTE Phones Now Available at!

Before leaving for Taiwan, I was introduced to the trifecta of superior product quality, performance, and sleek design aka the new models of ZTE smartphones: Blade Vec 4G, Blade Vec Pro, and the Nubia Z5 S Mini. I am not a techie person, so I'll leave all the specs and details of the phone to the other tech bloggers in the event... But what I admire most about ZTE is their emphasis on good camera quality.

You can "wirelessly" take photos in a ZTE mobile phone by just doing the peace sign or the smile detector, which is amazing! Also, they guarantee less grainy pictures, especially on night shots. They even have photoshop-ish editing tools, lots of filters, etc. I have yet to try this myself, but so far they impressed me!

Together with the Philippines’ Biggest Online Shopping Mall –, its but fitting to note that these exciting new models from ZTE will cater to each and everyone who seek performance, sophistication, or being a cut above the rest.
Should you…
