NYC-Inspired Watches for Kenneth Cole Holiday 2014

I know it sounds cliche but I'll say it anyway, New York will always be close to my heart. I'd love to go back to The City That Never Sleeps, with people so vibrant and alive day-till-night, they match or even beat the brilliant lights of the beautiful Big City.

Earlier, I was able to attend the press launch of New York brand Kenneth Cole, featuring their Holiday 2014 Collection of timepieces for men and women. Makati Shangri-La Hotel's Makati Room was transformed into Central Park in Autumn, and we also had a "view" of the Empire State building inside the ballroom.

The watches really caught my attention, with designs inspired by the bold and alive vibe of NYC. Sparkling stone accents like the skyline view from New York's highest building Top of the Rock, and the transparent dials and brilliant metals that resemble the glittering Times Square. Ahhh, most probably my favorite intersection in the entire universe! ;D

Anyway, here are some of the watches from Kenneth Cole New York's Holiday 2014 Collection:

Men’s genuine Diamond collection features a genuine diamond marker at the 12 o’clock position, and two dial colors of black and silver, the watch incorporates stainless steel dress bracelets and premium leather, showcasing a sleek style for the progressive man. 

The best selling Women’s Transparency collection of last season gets an upgrade! Available in rose gold and stainless steel, the watch features transparent dials and a pave center, plus unique Roman numeral indexes.

The Women’s Classic collection features crystal accented dials, three-hand movements and a feminine bracelet that will stand the test of time. Offered in both rose gold and stainless steel.

I was able to catch some of the prices, which are all in fairness affordable for a luxury brand!

It was an interactive event, where the watch-designer himself Creative Director David Smordini demonstrated how he creates these timepieces for both the ladies and the gents:

And, of course, they also made the guests imagine their own Kenneth Cole watch design. Although I didn't win, I am proud of my Big Apple-ish timepiece. Made me wish even more for another New York vacation! :)
