CamSur Wakesports Complex Day 2

Saturday, November 08, 2014

One-night stand lang tayo, pero bakit ganun? Parang we had so much good memories together, and hinahanap hanap padin kita. LOL.

Day 2 in Camsur was sunny and bright. The Clingies woke up super giddy to finally try the water activities this place is famous for. Technically we just had 1 night for this trip, at dahil umulan pa during our first day dapat nang i-maximize talaga ang last hours we had before our 8pm uwian!

Saw this beautiful pool near the buffet where we had breakfast:

But of course we headed to the other amenities na we don't usually try in other destinations! Water inflatables and wake boarding! Sugod!

Love all our strolls and the view from our cabin going to the parks... I love my friends. :) Yehhhes! Panay good vibes and laugh trip lang!

First stop was in this Aqua Park, a man-made lake with lots giant water inflatables which I later on learned is called the Lago Del Ray. Meron din daw pa boat or kayak, but in our group di ko alam anong ieexpect basta excited lang talaga ako to swim! The entrance is priced at P120 per hour, P200 for half day, and P380 for whole day. Pwede mo ding ipasara the whole park for P50k, half day use, para sa team building, parties, or bet mo lang. ;p

We met with the group in the tented area (P350 rental for whole day). Hi baby Vina, Aicha, and JM!

Ang gandaaa! I'm readeh!!!

They will also provide the guests with floaters / life vests dahil malalim pala ang lake! Mas lalong nalaman pa namin kung gaano siya kalalim when Paul lost his GoPro and ang hirap pala niyang sisirin hanggang dulo! Triny ko talaga sumisid?! Lol.

Anyway! It started with this biggest Iceberg, and siya lang ang nakaakyat sa pinaka taas. The struggle is real for the others--pero ang cucute nila picturean, hehehe.

He had to jump from there, and dun nawala si GoPro. :p Paul's second Iceberg climb to see if kayang makita ang ilalim ng water pag nasa taas, but the lake is really murky.

Search and rescue operation! Hahaha! Tawang tawa ako nung may naka bangka na talaga! Thanks to Kuya at nahanap padin ang mala-gintong GoPro!! Yan na siguro ang highlight ng trip nato, hehehe!

Spot the Difference! Hahahahaha! Favorite photo story ko to of this trip, hahaha!

The attempt naman to climb the smaller iceberg. Tracy vs Pax. HAHAHA!

As for me, I held on to my Sun Samsung S5, na sabi ko itetest ko nga kung talagang water-resistant! LOL! So best in documentation nalang ako, while floating and selfie-ing, hehehe. I was also saving my energy for wake boarding (talaga laaang!).

Feel ko pa-sunset na so we decided to go to our main agenda: wake boarding! Vita Coco muna coz napagod ako sa pag swim palang, naks.

Rates! For wakeboarding in CWC, hourly costs P165, P460 for half day, P750 for whole day, and P590 for night rate (5-9pm). Yep, pwede ditong magdamagan! Hehe.

The advanced area! We watched some of the pros "play" with their board here in the larger man-made lake, tapos one-hand lang si kuya sa pag wakeboard! Parang ang dali! Haha! Yung isang kamay may hawak pang monopod! :p

The gang!

But anyway, our group drove to the beginner's area since most of us mga first timers. Shuttles are everywhere in CWC kaya kahit malayo, may free ride for everybody's convenience.

Pa-art shot:

Randz was teaching me techniques since he tried this na before. Ang cute ni Tracy, wahaha!

Super excited!!! Wah!

Had to go through several turns to finally get the hang of wakeboarding. Balance lang siya like surfing, so sabi ko easier pa nga siya coz papahila ka lang and nakatayo ka na. You have to keep in mind lang all the other pointers ni Kuya Coach--like where to place your hands, wag hihilahin yung tali, toes up, squat muna, etcetera. After getting all that, balance nalang iisipin mo! :)

Pagkahulog ko, ok surfing nalang tayo! Lol. I enjoyed wakeboarding, though naiinip ako while waiting for my turn (hehe). I feel that surfing is more challenging and fun, but I definitely want to go back here! Thanks Pax for taking my photos!

Paul and I na mala Minions! Sino kaya yung nahulog sa likod namin, hehehe.

With my idol pag sa mga ganitong sports and physical activities ganap! Lakas talaga ng kumpiyansa ko kay Tracy, coach na coach! Hehehe!

Si Cher ang expert, umabot sa bundok ang photos! :D

So sad when we had to leave Camsur na. In fairness for a short trip, super sulit na siya so what more if we stayed there longer! I spent a few more hours in the wakeboarding area while waiting for Paul who had several rounds pa before leaving. Thus, I was able to catch the CWC sunset which we weren't able to see during our first night, and I know there is more to see pa in Bicol.

Till then, I'll be back Camsur!
