Here's the perfect combination on a rainy day (like today!) - coffee, good food to match the coffee, a cozy coffee shop, friends, and conversations on dreams and throwbacks.
Last Saturday, I went to Ortigas to visit one of my long-time online friends Nori's new venture: A coffee shop.
Located located in the heart of Ortigas City (ADB Building), Daily Brew's regular customers are from nearby offices and med school.
That day, albeit usually closed on Saturdays, the kitchen was busy preparing savoury dishes and brewing coffee just for us. Yum!
Daily Brew is a two-floor cafe that serves not only your usual coffee and pastries, but also rice meals, pasta, and sandwiches. As for the interiors, it felt like being in a crafts school (like CraftMNL!) - at home, no boxed theme, and so much things to see!
Instead of free WiFi, they have board games and books that you can enjoy during your stay. Eleanor Tolentino (or Nori) of the Daily Brew said that instead of just surfing the internet all day, they encourage visitors to be creative and inspired while in their coffee shop - thus the Design Your Own Cup section and monthly arts and crafts workshops. Even Ava and I are planning to hold our own classes here soon!

Monte Cristo - french toast with Canadian bacon, cream cheese, and blue berry jam!
Adobo Flakes - Php 165 - A best seller.
Thus the I love Adobo Flakes wall! Hehe!
Create Your Own Pasta and Waffles (price depends on chosen ingredients)
And my hot White Rabbit Coffee! Sweet and sticky, like caramel.

The best part was just sitting in the corner, while chatting about our life updates. I enjoyed learning how Nori stepped up her game from holding bazaars, to having a 9-5 job, trying events photography, and now having her own coffee shop! Truly inspiring!

I can say that hindi lang the good smell of coffee ang nag hehelp trigger great ideas, but also hardworking people! I am lucky that I get to meet them through my blog!
