In time for the season of giving and its 25th year, Boardwalk launches its new fashion and lifestyle brand SHARE--a noble brand with a social development platform. 

With fellow bloggers Ava and Kelly during SHARE's official launch last December 3 in Green Sun, Makati.

Boardwalk became super successful with its distributive enterprise philosophy through dealerships, which created generation of entrepreneurs. Adapting this, the new SHARE brand helps men and women from economically-challenged communities to gain a stable source of income!

In a nutshell, SHARE enables consumers with a social conscience to enjoy fashionable items while contributing 25% of what they pay to a business starter program developed by Share Foundation in partnership with Boardwalk Charity Foundation Incorporated. The program is designed to provide training and capital to economically-challenged Filipinos who hope to have a chance to do business!

“It’s an honor to be with people who believe in us and this important program,” Madera says. “We hope to encourage and inspire more people to do their share.”

The launch also featured two videos that capture Share’s vision. The first is a social experiment between the privileged and the underprivileged, while the second highlights the components that form the Share Ecosystem – the Sharepreneur, Sharepartner, Sharementor, Sharecreator, and Sharesponsor.

In support of the company’s vision, Boardwalk’s brightest celebrity endorsers shared their stories on how the simple act of purchasing a shirt can make a difference in people's lives. They call on everyone to join them as they begin this journey, and do their share to help people lead better, more fulfilling lives. These celebrities include:

Emphasizing that SHARE is a fashion-forward brand, the Walk to Share event also features Filipino fashion designer Avel Bacudio as the very first Sharecreator.
