Whenever a big trip is coming soon, I have to admit I hustle double-time so I can earn enough (or sobra pa) na pocket money to fully enjoy a trip. Since I can't always wait for the next Bloggers United which happens just 2x a year, one of the things I do is sell my pre-loved things online. Luckily, it's easier to sell things online through convenient mobile apps like OLX that you can use even when you're on-the-go.

What I thought was the final lineup abruptly changed just a few days ago as Paradise International Music Festival announced another addition to their exciting list. 

Along with 8 international and 12 local acts, including Swedish DJ Afrojack, British band Rudimental (DJ), young American artist Austin Mahone, and headliner Kanye West, North Dakota rapper Wiz Khalifa confirmed his attendance to the music fest.

The first quarter of the year had been eventful, I think I prayed for this even before 2016 began. New settings, new work, new "cast" to this "play". Sa totoo lang, I am glad that this Holy Week holiday came, because along with these new things, I forgot the important parts of my old ways. It's hard to admit this, but I forgot the personal in blogging. 

I guess this break is not only to rest and para makahabol sa backlogs, it is also the perfect time to look back, say thank you, before pushing forward again - more energized, more inspired, and more "me".

I was wrong when I thought that gone are the days of Instagram filters and Snapseed. Majority of Instagram users now edit with VSCO. There was a time I even deleted my other editing apps!

Lately, I started playing around again with different photo treatments. I got challenged to try different Instagram photo looks, before uploading them, so I reacquainted myself to good ol' Afterlight.

If you think it's time consuming, I actually enjoy editing my photos! I guess to each his own. Although nakaharang na pala ako sa pinto, lol.

I have my fitness goals listed few days before ending my dorm life. It was a month of eating junk, sometimes I just eat chips in 7Eleven for dinner (sorry body, hehe). 

Anyway, some of my fitness goals include: 1) Get fitter and less mahingalin, 2) Get healthier, and watch everything that I take in, and 3) Get stronger, and participate in more sports.

Aside from getting a lifetime gym subscription (I know, it's an impulsive decision!), I also enjoy discovering detox drinks. Kilo Off stands out because of its cute packaging and products are made in France.

There's so much issues going on with Instagram. It being a "mini art gallery" instead of the essence on why this social media app was created: to instantly share what's happening in your life. #FeedGoals is uso, and I also noticed people deleting contacts they've already followed so that they have more number of followers than "following" (yup, may ganun, and medyo nkklk!).

But anyway, after much rebellion and fighting for "realness", I eventually rode the waves and told myself that making your Instagram feed beautiful is also but part of being a social media girl and an extension of being a blogger (mine's messy though, but that's okay!). I also started to follow Instagram superstars to get some "aesthetic inspo".

I think one time, my friends and I were stuck in traffic when I asked for their favorite "Instagrammers". That was when I first learned about Jelito (or @JelitoDeleon) through Paul. Unlike the fashion themed feeds I've been following, his was more on travel and nature and good flatlay skills.

I can only take this 32C heat because of all the fun things ahead. Summer: The best season to let loose, enjoy, and spend more time with the barkada!

Some of my game plans include a Korea trip, another Boracay trip hopefully, and more mini adventures with my friends in between. I hope I can also accomplish bucket list-worthy experiences like sky-dive, bungee-jump, or even just to learn how to ride a bike! Haha!

It's true when they say that we take things for granted lalo na when it's something accessible, yung nandyan lang kasi. May it be time, clean drinking water, and even people (#hugot, haha). 

I remembered when our city was hit by a storm, that our street had no water and electricity for a week! That was when I started to appreciate a faucet with running water, or being able to read or just move around freely even at night, and not bump into random things.

I appreciate all these and much more when Freewaters invited us to Baler last March 1-3. Clueless about this new Primer Group brand, and always excited for every opportunity to travel, I said yes right away!

Before, I can only dream of our very own Tomorrowland. People gathered in one outdoor venue, all looking beautiful in their hippie outfits, and celebrating good music with great artists. I have countlessly watched these videos on Youtube! Then Closeup Forever Summer happened.

Closeup Forever Summer, to me, is the pioneer. The event has given us the most unforgettable music happenings from Alesso, Angus & Julia Stone, and Martin Garrix. Now on its 3rd and final year, Closeup Forever Summer is making sure they end with a bang!

Although my sisters are very busy with their work, we make sure to go on out-of-town trips together. Ate and I already went to Japan and Taiwan, while we also went with Cea and the parentals to Cebu and the US.

This year, we availed the sudden drop of airfares and booked for a weekend in Boracay.

I was there almost a day earlier, and even witness the sunrise from my plane. I was lucky that our hotel (Sun Villas Beachfront Boracay) allowed me to check in our room early.
