After two La Union trips last month, I decided to try the new Beauty Lab Whitening by Suaviss, located at the Bonifacio Stopover, Taguig. My goal is simple: to get back to my original skin tone post beach trips. After the forms, I was toured around the "beauty lab" and got to know more about their services before I start with mine.

Right next to your changing room is the area for your thorough exfoliation. Again, everything's clean and comfortable.

Step 1: Exfoliate

1) Removes dead skin cells, improves skin tone, texture, and absorption of cosmetics

2) Convenient and non-irritating

This is my first time to try a body scrub that doesn't feel like they use beads to scratch over my skin. Beauty Lab's product has natural derived ingredients that's good even to sensitive skin, and its minimized scrub particles make it non-irritating. It felt more like a massage than a body scrub! They also use a different and gentler product for the face.

As with any body scrub treatments, you have to be naked during the whole procedure. Don't worry though, they provide disposable underwear and clean towels for your comfort, and their staff is very professional. 

Post-Scrubbing, my skin felt squeaky clean, but not dry!

Step 2: Pre-Conditioning Ointment

After the scrub / massage, I was back in my changing room to apply the Suaviss products thinly all over my skin. These products have strong whitening and moisturizing effects.

Ready for Step 3: Equipment Treatment R-630

Using a technique called Red Light Collagen therapy, the R-630 represents a safe, non-invasive, and effective way to naturally encourage collagen production in the body. With more collagen, skin becomes more supple and firm. 

R-630 produces ray therapy for your whole body, so you have to step-in bare-naked, and stay for around 10 minutes for better absorption. I pushed it till 15 minutes, since phones are allowed inside. Anyway, it's still hard to view your phone because of the red light (you're also required to wear black goggles to protect your eyes), but my sight adjusted eventually.

You can also talk to your attendant from time to time if claustrophobia kicks-in! It was the longest 15 minutes of my life, but relatively bearable.

Lotions applied before and after the therapy lock in nutrients from the treatment, and give the skin a vibrant glow that 100% natural.
