Foods, Friends, and Shoes

Saturday, August 19, 2017

It's a miracle! This south girl went to Pasig TWICE this week! 😂 Well, I can't resist two of my favorite things: comfortable shoes and good food. Well make that three... TIME WITH FRIENDS! What traffic? What rain!? What LTFRB issues?! Hahaha.. I will go out of my way for these things!

Last night in Gastro Park Kapitolyo to support my dear friend Pax's new home for her baby Taipei Kita. I was wearing the lightest shoes from the new Cole Haan collection, perfect for the day's food park booth-hopping!

The food park is not only a treat for the tummy, but a visual treat as well! Instagram worthy corners everywhere so I took OOTDs with my new pair from Cole Haan:

First of all, about my shoes. So Cole Haan Philippines recently opened their 7th branch at the ground floor of Ayala The 30th Mall in Pasig. Aside from the store opening is the launch of their latest collection for autumn, namely the GrandEvølution, GrandMøtion and the next generation StudiøGrand lineups.

In their new campaign “Extraordinary Comes to Life”, they showcase the fusion of functionality and style. It is a tribute to a storyline of movement, featuring dancers from New York City Ballet including Resident Choreographer and Soloist, Justin Peck. This shows that even ballerinas, with the right shoes, will not be restricted from their movements.

Cole Haan’s new store in the Philippines follows the design of the brand’s stores in the United States. The 107-square meter space has a neutral color palette that incorporates a blend of traditional and modern design aesthetic. It is well lit to highlight the full expression of merchandise including men's and women's footwear, apparel, handbags and accessories.

Can't choose between black or white! I love the minimalist and classy styles of these Cole Haan sneakers. They are also very lightweight!

So I took them out yesterday, which turned out to be a super on-the-go, and rainy day! Ang stress! I also realized that I picked a size smaller, but they unbelievably didn't hurt my feet! I lasted the whole day of long walks under the rain + commuting.

I ended my Friday night with a food trip in Gastro Park Kapitolyo!

Here's my favorite Taipei Kita unlimited tofu dish + Sweet Nothing Root Beer Float + Japbox's veg udon! I love that they have so much selections for vegetarians!

Punong puno ang table namin! Ang saya!

The vegetarian's pick: Vegetable Udon from Japbox, Wrecking Ball (deep fried mac n cheese) from Ball Shack, Gravy Fries from Surfries!, and vegetable samosa from The Masala Bar!

Tracy, of course, availed the open mic! Hehehe!

May bago kaming teleserye, abangan! Lol.

Ang pahalaman nila Pax, haha! Taipei Kita's "Plant Ice Cream"!

Sweet naman! Hehehe!

Gastro Park Infinity is proud to be the first UNLI Food Park in the country!
