With the traffic so bad and our erratic weather the past days (rainy today, super hot tomorrow), I thank God for online shopping. I try as much as possible to just work from home which lead me to discovering lots of stuff online. I love buying my clothes in apps and online shops, unique trinkets on Instagram, and even secondhand fashion items on Facebook groups!
Imagine my eyes (😍) when I discovered an e-commerce website for FOOD!
Karton.ph promotes 100% Filipino artisanal and homemade products, delivering variety of goods in 1-2 days to homes with timely care (like a balikbayan box). They have over 80 merchants and sell around 700 products, most of which I only see during bazaars!! The site is already featured in popular blogs like The Fat Kid Inside and Cat Juan's, so yep, I think it's worth the try!
When you check their website, they have the following categories: Pastries & Sweets, Beverages, Meat, Sugars & Seasonings, Sauces, Bottled Delicacies, Snacks, Spreads, Coffee & Tea, and Lifestyle (non-food, local items ranging from soaps to perfumes).

Currently, Karton.ph only delivers their artisan and gourmet products within Metro Manila, but plans of expanding their market is on its way. Delivery charge is Php 99 (flat rate), and only accept Cash On Delivery (COD - payment upon delivery to the rider) for now.
I tried the Nuevo Comienzo Garlic Peanuts and The Veggie Recipe (Chili Chili Bang Bang) with my pasta last night for dinner, and LOVED them! This is perfect to those who want to try local goodies, or even for those who want to have unique gifts conveniently delivered to loved ones this Christmas!
