Hangout with Friends @ Last Night's Locally "Fruit Truck"

Saturday, November 25, 2017

We've know of food trucks and ice cream trucks, but have you ever heard of a "fruit truck"???

Last night, I finally had the time to hangout with my best friends in blogging, Paul and Ava, as we experienced the launch of Locally Blended Juice Drink's Locally Fruit Truck at the BGC Passionfest. BGC Passionfest is a celebration of all things local, and event started around 6pm. Ang daming booths last night, but we decided to hangout with Locally.

Locally by NutriAsia is the first quirky Filipino juice line made with indigenous local fruits, and now the Fruit Truck is another first for them. Millennials and millennials at heart were there to celebrate the end of the week with good food, refreshing drinks, and great company. The place was also super jam-packed!

My first time to try their Dalandan flavor, and it's so good! Also in love with the packaging!

Choose your flavor: Tamarind My Bell (tamarind), Pomelong & Lasting Love (pomelo), Save the Best for SinigueLAST (siniguelas), Calamansi’z the Day (calamansi), Guyabano-body But You (guyabano), You’ve Dalandan It Again (dalandan), and Mangosteenie Miney Mo (mangosteen).

Aside from these local drinks, they also served kakanin such as sapin-sapin, puto, kuchinta, and favorite Pinoy dishes such as fish balls and pansit to all the guests. So totoo lang, I live for these kind of foods--especially sapin-sapin!

And of course, nothing like good music from local acts to complete our chill night. Keiko Necesario and Quest were both there, galing nila! :)

“Now, we want to bring this unique experience closer to more Filipinos by rolling out the Locally Fruit Truck starting with this launch, like how our classic ice cream trucks brought us a refreshing kind of happiness and nostalgia on its wheels,” said Gretchen King, group product manager-specialty F&B at NutriAsia.

So better watch out for the Locally Fruit Truck in resto hubs, food parks, malls, and transport terminals!
