I just want to share some of my current Innisfree favorites. I never thought I'd be a big fan since I am more of the Cosrx and Neogen girl when it comes to Korean skincare, but ever since I "met" these Innisfree products--I see myself repeat buying whenever I finish a tube or bottle or jar of them.

Here are my top 10 favorite Innisfree products:

The last time I went on a trip with my high school barkada was about 4 years ago in Boracay. So when my best friend from high school announced that she'll hold a big wedding in Bohol (she's already married civil in Belgium, where she also currently resides with the hubby), everyone's so excited!

In my country, the Philippines, we have 7000+ islands, countless festivals held in even more countless barangays, municipalities, towns and cities. How many of them have you already visited?

I am a tourist of my own country.

I am guilty of not travelling more around my own country, the Philippines. But I am recently changing this by having at least once a month trip in our beautiful provinces: Iloilo, La Union, Bohol, Marinduque, etcetera. But as they say bat pa tayo lalayo, I really want to get to know more of my home MANILA. 

If you only have a few hours in Tokyo, where will you go?

I have a guilty pleasure and that is to finish up a tub, tube, or bottle of beauty product. I think it's a waste when I open a new one and I am still halfway my current skincare. Naguguilty talaga ako!

As a contact lens wearer, it has been years since the last time I replaced my eyeglasses. I am guilty of the mindset that I'd rather spend on my monthly (or 3-month) contact lenses, and make do with the specs that I only wear at home anyway. 

The downside of this is that I also got stuck with the eye grade I was used to since I was in Grade 5! I am not sure if it's the cause of my headaches, but I think my recent visit to an optical shop that carries fashionable eyewear and also encourages eye check-up in Alabang Town Center is very timely. 

After a night in Taal Vista Hotel and doing a Taal Heritage Tour, we ended our Summer In The South trip with a stay in Pico De Loro's Pico Sands Hotel!!

My dad is from Batangas, or a "Tubong Batangueño".

Back in the day, he will drive the whole family to his hometown in Tanauan almost every weekend to visit his mom and siblings, and maybe even his childhood friends. Seeing the Makiling at a distance as we pass by Batangas municipalities was a feel good core memory to me as a kid--which is still vivid to me up to this day. Maybe it's because of dad's adventure stories related to this dormant volcano during his teenage years. I've always looked at Mt. Makiling with curious eyes!

And although we weren't really able to explore more of Batangas outside Tanauan, it's nice that my current work entails me to experience and discover things that I never really had the chance to do so about my dad's home. Let's start with Taal, and hopefully there is more to come in the coming months!

Our day 2 for this trip is dedicated to Taal Heritage Tour. It will take more than an hour drive coming from Taal Vista Hotel, and another 1+ hours to reach our next hotel for this trip which is Pico De Loro. Some might say it's time consuming, but personally I enjoyed this itinerary! Sharing the lineup of activities we had for our full day in Taal.
