How To Change Your Macbook Desktop's File Icons + Free BTS Wallpaper and Icons

Wednesday, June 10, 2020

Since I can't upgrade my gadgets anytime soon, I started tinkering with my Macbook only to find out that I can customize not only my wallpaper but also my folders' icons!

Sharing how you can do it too!

1. Search for icons you want to use.

Add PNG or "transparent" when you search, or use ones with cute backdrop. You can also make your own icons if you want by drawing on Adobe Sketch or using your favorite photos.

2. Open you icon and click Command+C. Then Exit.

3. Right click on the folder you want to customize, then go to Get Info.

4. Click the small folder icon on the upper left, and then click Command+V.

It should change into your new icon:

Just apply the how-to above. If this is something you enjoyed, let me know! Will try to make more themed wallpapers and icons on my next posts.

Enjoy! :)
