BTS is officially returning, and this time, it’s bigger, bolder, and historic. After years of anticipation, the world’s biggest pop group is reuniting on the global stage with a live comeback event, a new album, a world tour, and an intimate documentary—marking one of the most significant moments in modern pop culture.

BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG – Streaming Exclusively on Netflix

Netflix has partnered with HYBE to deliver this unprecedented global livestream, marking the first-ever live event broadcast from Korea to be streamed worldwide on Netflix. This historic performance celebrates the release of BTS’ highly anticipated fifth studio album, ARIRANG.

For the first time since completing South Korea’s mandatory military service, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook will reunite on stage as BTS, performing together in front of a global audience.

ARIRANG: BTS’ Fifth Studio Album and World Tour

The live event follows the announcement of BTS’ new album, ARIRANG, a deeply reflective and personal body of work that explores the group’s identity, roots, and evolution. The album captures who BTS is now—artists shaped by time apart, growth, and shared history.

Following the album’s release, BTS will launch the ARIRANG World Tour (2026–2027), spanning 34 regions and 82 shows across Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. The tour is set to be one of the largest global concert runs in music history.

BTS: THE RETURN – A Netflix Documentary Film

Because one comeback wasn’t enough, Netflix will also release BTS: THE RETURN, a feature-length documentary film premiering on March 27, 2026.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bao Nguyen (The Stringer, The Greatest Night in Pop) and produced by This Machine, HYBE, and EAST Films, the documentary offers unprecedented access to BTS during their reunion.

The film chronicles the group’s return to making music together in Los Angeles after military service, capturing moments of doubt, laughter, reflection, and rediscovery. As millions of fans await the comeback of the decade, BTS confronts powerful questions: how to begin again, how to honor the past without being bound by it, and how to move forward together.

BTS: THE RETURN is an intimate, emotional, and often joyful portrait of resilience, brotherhood, and reinvention—telling a story only BTS can tell.

Netflix Expands Its Live Programming

BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG represents a major expansion of Netflix’s live content strategy. The event joins a growing slate of live programming, including Skyscraper Live, Star Search, WWE Raw, NFL Christmas Gameday, Paul vs Tyson, Canelo vs Crawford, and Six Kings Slam. Upcoming live broadcasts will include MLB games, the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and The Actor Awards.
