I recently purchased a BTS / BT21 / TINYTAN mystery box from a Korean shop via Shopee. They call their clearance sale gimmick "FILL A BOX"--and it's one of the few things that excite me at the moment lol.
The collab I've been waiting for has finally arrived in Manila! We now have an OFFICIAL Crocs BT21 release! Check out the Crocs footwear design and the Jibbitz set inspired by BTS' Line Friends characters BT21.
I recently shared one of my current collections, which is BT21 TATA!
I started collecting BT21 TATA, or BTS Kim Taehyung (V)'s character with Line Friends in Korea, back in 2018. I started with unofficial merch. Then, through my travels in Japan, Korea, and even Taiwan, I was able to purchase at least one small item in the official store for every trip.
I didn't notice that it accumulated to this through the years!
I also took advantage of collaboration collections (such as with Innisfree, Vice Cosmetics, Dunkin Donuts Korea, etc), and when Line Friends opened its official store in Manila, I was also able to conveniently buy more official BT21 TATA!
Now that we're always at home, I was able to appreciate how I have these things that make me happy right in my room! I was able to get more BT21 TATA online. They have an official Play Line Friends store in Lazada, but I also saw online toy stores selling BT21. And of course, you can also check out the pasabuy Instagram shops reselling items from Korea.

On my next Korea trip, I'll probably stay in Hongdae. I tried it twice palang, one was just for a night, and the other was for work so I had no time to really go around. On my recent trip, I realized that there's still so much to see in this youthful neighborhood of Seoul (university area).
When all these finally come to an end, I will make sure to book my next guesthouse in Hongdae.
I cannot deny that a Line Friends store can be considered a tourist attraction when you visit Korea. Most of the people I know who went to Myeongdong or Itaewon will drop by this playful store to have their photos taken with the giant BROWN character plushie that welcomes the guests to come inside. There was a time that even Incheon International Airport has a giant Brown bear photo area at the departure area! Lagi pinipilahan ang Line Friends!
Aside from the cute characters of this popular Korean messaging app, they also carry Kpop group BTS BT21 original merch--some stores even have BT21 cafes!

In all my Korea trips, I've never once set foot in Itaewon. I've heard a lot about it as a cool party place, and the perfect area to grab a bottle of beer (or soju) to loosen up and have fun with friends. It's funny that my first time in Itaewon is for something cutesy and wholesome--haha!
BT21 is Kpop boy band BTS and LINE Friends' collaboration and I am in love with it! The Bangtan boys created their own cute characters, which LINE Friends produced into merch (clothes, key chains, stickers, etc) and even food in their own cafe. You can see all these in Line Friends' flagship store located in Itaewon, so after Yongma Land abandoned theme park adventure, I asked Jari if we can have our coffee or dessert here kahit medyo malayo instead of just going to a random cafe (team tuhog, hehe). Thank God she's up for it! Woohoo!
Like most Line Stores in Korea, they have the HUGE Brown stuffed toy in the middle of the store, where guests take turns to have their photos with!
