Fashion Roadtrip: First Stop - VNC

Friday, May 11, 2012

Most memorable experiences when I was still in school happened during field trips. Crazy times, sharing of yummy (or yung hindi syado at nilamig nang) baons, hyper kids and revelations all happen in just a day outside the vicinity of the campus. That's why when VNC / The Little Thing She Needs, and The Flat Shop invited 10 bloggers to their Fashion Road Trip, I said yes rightaway!

On a umaaraw-umuulan Thursday, I headed to the Eastwood Cookbook Kitchen --our meet up point. We also had lunch first (yey kainan kaagad!) and was greeted with this piece of paper on our plates: (meaning was revealed later on, so we kept our own cards)

What I had:

Pumpkin Soup:

Colorful drinks! I had the green tea:

Salad with fruity dressing:

Pomodoro Pasta:

And a slice of Cook Book Kitchen's Red Velvet Cake (salap sana with coffee!)
Napaka magana ko kumain noh, lol.

After our lunch, headed over to the VNC store at the 2nd level of the Eastwood Mall.

With my ka-peg that day, Krissy:

Walls were lined up with so much shoes:

They have a shoe sale going on:

And a Mother's Day Promo:

So the cards we got during lunch meant who will get a pair in VNC or in TLTSN.

The girls who got the card with Don't say goodbye to summer just yet got their new VNC pairs from the brand's summer collection!

The other bloggers got busy choosing what they'll get:

Tracy Ayson and Marj Sia, making a tough decish:

Most of them got this design:

Pax trying out the black heels:

Sarah can't decide on the color:

Even though I got the The Little Thing She Needs card, I still checked out the store's offerings. Here are my personal picks:

Summery wedges with statement 2-tone heels:

Pretty Hot Pink and Black Bags:

  All these nautical footwears:

Low-heeled standard wedges:

Fun stripes wedges:

Basic peep-toe pumps:

Chain linked black bag:

The VNC bloggers by the check out counter:

Tracy Ayson, Aisa Ipac, Ava Te, Sarah Tirona, and Rowena Lei with their new VNC shoes

The organizers also brought about the competitive spirit in me (lol) through a series of "First to Tweet" games.

Won the VNC game along with Pax and Verniece, woot! We took home a tote, planner, and gift cards!

We all happily headed out the store with our pretty new things, then off to our next destination....

(To be continued....)
