Monochrome

Sunday, March 24, 2013

I am the type na pag na-obsess sa isang bagay, medyo matagal tagal na getting over ang bibilangin (nyahaha). Not love-related a (haha), example nalang yung ayoko simulan yung usong-uso na Candy chu chu game kasi takot ako maaddict! The last time na nag start ako ng mga ganyang game, kesho profile photo ko sa FB e yung Cafe World character ko, lol.

So narealize ko lang kung gaano tinake over na ng aking pencil skirt addiction ang aking recent outfit posts--thus, taking a break muna from this latest fashion obsession by wearing something different: a pair of PANTS! :D

Nude Studded Polo - Pasalubong from Tracy Ayson
Khaki Pants - Giordano
Nude Heels - SM Parisian
Bag - Roxy
Gold Chain Necklace - Anagon
Thank you Sarah Tirona for taking my photos!

I love my new Roxy bag--roomy, class ang color, and ang daming divisions ng bag para hiwahiwalay ang camera, press kit, vanity kit, and even sa Flipsters ko (pamalit nun pagod na sa high heels!).

Pa-fresh ang peg, I wore this all-nude tone ensemble last Thursday's national events day! Kailangan medyo comfy para mag last ako sa whole day affair! Super love the fit of the Giordano pants, hindi din hassle sa commutes (lalo na pauwi at late na! :p). Conservative look parin, but with the monochrome drama, may effect! Hehe. Keri ba? :)

A rundown update of my going-ons the past days:

So a few days ago, I had dinner with Paul and Sarah and other bloggers in New World Makati!
Learned about the 50-off promo in the hotel's Cafe 1228 buffet--na sobrang sulit! :D
More on that in next post!

Wednesday, finally I decided to give fitness a shot! I discovered Bikram Yoga Alabang via Google-ing
mga pwedeng physical activities I can add to my schedule para healthy-healthyhan din.

Bikram Yoga Alabang is located in Commerce Center--na malalakad from Festival Mall.
Medyo far din sha (tipong from SM Makati to Greenbelt siguro!), but I enjoyed those quiet
walks--nakakapag isip isip ka na nga, dagdag exercise + warm-up narin!

Narealize ko lang, parang hindi ako for boxing or gym-type,
so nadecidean ko na "chill" lang exercise is the way to go!

Tamang tama, back in college, I also tried hatha yoga narin as part of UST Yoga Club.
Kahit na after graduating, nakakaattend pa ako! Tinamad nalang nung nalalayuan na talaga ako sa UST.
Some of my yoga essentials: my old mat, my DIY yoga mat bag, and my trusty Flipsters:

The difference lang is bikram is set in a hot room, so nung first day ko talaga ang laking adjustment
sa breathing! Mahimatay levels talaga nung kalagitnaan na ng poses! ;D Worth it, though.
I was telling my friends teary eyed pako pagkatapos ng first session - it was emotional din a (or ako
lang ba yun? Haha!). Before the class ended, our instructor told us while naka dead man pose kami na
we deserve this rest more if we had a bad day, if we pushed and did our best throughout the class.
They always end a session with a calming Namaste. Nafeel ko na the whole time for the one-hour-ish class,
I did things for my self. Little by little, if I continue with the yoga classes, I feel that I'll find my center again.

Post-yoga. Ready to go home! :)

National events day last Thursday started with a Laura Mercier lunch and launch of their
Summer 2013 makeup. In love with the beach-vibe tones--nakakaexcite gamitin!

We also headed to Bershka's first branch in our country--Glorietta!
The store held a big party to introduce their international brand to Manila!

Afterwards, we went to Friday's High Street to relax and hangout, and had dinner / event with my gals:

Ended national events day in Hyve for the Antony Morato fashion show:

Friday afternoon, I visited Maldita Studio in Panay Avenue for a much-needed hair makeover
and mani-pedi! I love this new salon, ang class, and best in service!

I got a darker shade of red. :)

Tamang tama, right after the makeover, had a "Last Friday Night" moment with my Baguio Gals
Pax, Ava, and Tracy in Universal Records--wet and wild party lang for a music vid shoot,
complete with the inflatable pools! Sino yung asa likod naming nagsswimming???

...Yael of Sponge Cola!!! :D Hahaha! Crazy night!

The shoot ended around 12 na, so I decided to biglaang overnight nadin kay Pax (hallelujah for 7Eleven! Haha).
And then today, left Pax's before 9 am to attend a cool "surprise event" na hindi namin alam ang gagawin!

With Krissy in the event coaster - clueless of the destination. At dahil nakitulog lang that night, kulang ang
mukap, and suot ko lang the returned pulled-out clothes ni Pax! HAHA!

Yun pala kaya may coaster, the Nuffnang team and Nescafe brought us to Antipolo!
It was a full day of art immersion, food trip, meeting celeb Bianca Gonzales, and lots of other new discoveries! :)

More kwento details nalang in separate posts! :)
