I almost took home the Samsonite grand prize luggage earlier, and this is where one of the biggest regrets of my life enters. :p
Went to the Samsonite event awhile ago in the beautiful Peninsula Hotel in Makati. I wasn't sure who will be coming, but I went there anyway since I love to travel, plus the whole Crazy Gonzales family just booked our very first US trip by end of the year (!!!). Mom and I will be staying there the longest, as in Pasko till birthday ko aabot (haha) para masulit this paminsanang vacation (moremore outfit shoots! ;P Haha)! Anyway, so I went to the Samsonite launch and introduction of their new CURV Technology to learn more about their luggage and see if the style and specs fit my needs. Planning to buy maleta din for the trip!
Anyway, so the Curv is a revolutionary concept of Samsonite which allows a luggage to be made unbelievably light yet exceptionally strong. The three Samsonite Curv collections include Cosmolite, Cubelite, and the recently released Firelite.
I LOVE THIS! Super effective ng ad na to sakin, hahaha! Also, bilang tayong girls during travels, shopaholic na nga, hindi pa maiwan-iwan ang buong ka-regimen-an (bote-botelya ng mga makeup, toner, facial wash, etc). So we need a lighter bag para hindi na makadagdag sa excess baggage problems natin. And yet, sana kahit magaan sha, matibay naman and can take impacts and extreme temperatures. Perfect tong Firelite for us! :)
So back to the event, I just finished the fashion show (cool ng set-up, parang mga flight attendants ang models! :)) and then left Dani and Mikyle and the jam-packed venue during the break. I was having coffee in Pen's beautiful lobby when I got a call from Dani that I WON THE MALETA daw--but forfeited because may going once going twice ganap! :(
..Matagal-tagal na getting over to. :p
OMG mamatay ata ako sa inggit Ana!!!! Been missing the US lately.. Especially yun isang tao na sobrang love ko na andun ngayon.. Sigggghhh..

DeleteI know it sucks forfeiting that lugg but hey, better things will come your way (like winning a trip for four to Santorini, so please delay any urge to get coffee lol). If you wanna get over that booboo a bit faster, here's an idea: mag shoot ka na nagta-tightrope din; may bitbit kang dalawang unbranded maleta tas gayahin mo yung model sa ad; caption-an mo nalang ng "almost carried a firelite". LOL, mmmm, parang di ata effective yun ah.
