Man Cave

Friday, January 10, 2014

Kung may time ka kumain, dapat may time ka din mag exercise! ;p Haha, yan ang new motto/mantra ko dito!

I woke up today at peace na with the thought of uneventful remaining days here in the States. The Polar Vortex won't help pa, I can't just go out emo-style and walk around to look for the nearest coffee shop, kung ayokong ma-frostbite. Being a tropical girl, hindi din ako super sanay sa lamig, so kahit hindi pa frostbite, mamamatay ata ako sa ngatog! :p So scrap-off na ang walk to the nearest Waffle House or museum as part of my to dos, and maximize nalang and enjoy what's here in the house.

For breakfast today, I had generous servings of buttered croissants and a glass of milk. I love preparing food! I also had a glazed donut (not in photo). Super nagutom ako from last night:

Let me show to you what I did... Welcome to my Tito's Man Cave! :p

This is where we hold our "Movie Nights"--but last night, we weren't able to watch a film at busy my teenager cousin finishing her new favorite series Sherlock:

Bawal distorbohin, hehe, si Nico nag iPad nalang:

Man Cave Rules! ;p

So instead of drinking it up or sitting down for hours, I decided to go to the other section of the Man Cave: The Playground! Here's my Tito's new acquisition: pang boxing ganap:

Not much of a darts fan because of my nearsighted vision:

Cool billiards table na nacoconvert into air hockey table and table tennis! Beer pong, pwede? Hehe:

Wii:

Basketball (na may electric-scoring ganap na mala-Time Zone!)

Weights, na ginagawa ko lang chair:

More weights, boxing gloves, jumping rope, badminton rackets:

Back massage chair:

I finished 30 minutes lang in the elliptical bike last night! Parang ang bagal ng oras, so 30 minutes felt like forever! ;p But dapat careerin ko na to every night:

Ending with this beautiful quote from an inspiring and empowering online article on traveling:

"I have no concrete plans for the rest of the day, or, really, the week, except the vague possibility of having coffee with an acquaintance from college who teaches English here. I am here all by myself. I’m lonely.
And, I’m also happy."

Well, that's me right now! :) Read more here.
