I haven't been to Kapitolyo ever since our rain/madness/traffic experience late last year dahil malayo sha from my place and kailangan pang sadyain. Although when we were looking for Chi-Chie's Restobar and Grill, I realized how Kapitolyo resembles BF na! A lane I'd like to go back to again and again for the new indie restaurants, cake shops, and cafes that sprouted here and there--parang ang sarap nila lahat itry!
For the barkada, you have to dine here one time:
Good food and good drinks? In Chi-Chie's they have unli mojito and margarita for Php250 only, while beer is for Php40/bottle only.
Nice airconditioned dining area, clean CR, an outdoor area, 2nd floor beer pong for your barkada's game nights, and may karaoke din daw!:)
Mostly Filipino dishes, Chi-Chie's serves "lutong bahay" style that your family can enjoy for lunch, or the barkada can go to after work or on weekends to unwind. Last week, tambay / dinner with the blog friends na super namiss ko!:)
Price is very reasonable (around P100+/dish), but since vegetarian ako at walang say sa taste nila, please do visit Sarah and Ava's blogs for their Chi-Chie's food post!:) They love the pork bbq and panga, perfect pulutan din the mushrooms!
PS: We super love the free "kansi" soup they serve to all diners. Ang sarap reminded me of our favorite sinigang! ;p
We stayed a bit more for moremore chikas, hehe! With Pax and Sarah:
Chi-Chie's Restobar and Grill is located along East Kapitolyo Drive, and is open from 11am till 3am.
How to Commute to Kapitolyo, Pasig:
Take the MRT, and go down Shaw Blvd Station (Shang Mall). Take the jeep going to Pasig, go down when you see the Petron Gas Station along mini Rotonda, Shaw Blvd.
