Slit + Buckled Boots + Kwentos

Before the kwentos... here's my outfit for the Blue Water Day Spa event, on a day na bumabipolar na ang weather na imbis matuwa ka na rainy days are ahead na, magtataka ka kung bakit ang kulimlim na nga pero ang INIT padin! :p

Thus, I decided to wear presko but still rain-ready ensemble:

T-Shirt - Aeropostale USA | Skirt - Crazy About Maxi | Buckled Booties - Topshop | Photos - Yuki

Segue lang at mag bigay galang sa aking pilik-mata, haha! Thank you to Princess Hazel Spa & Salon for my eyelash extensions! Ok to para sa mga tiis ganda na tamad na mag ayos lalo na kung diredirecho ang lakad for a week! May kilala ako nagpa extensions nung mag bebeach trip, para hindi na kailangan mag mamascara pa pag asa Boracay, tipong pag mulat mo palang sa umaga, "good morning!" :p Iwas maroon eyes pa! ;)

Anyway, what kept me on my toes for the past days are two things: first is my Supersale Bazaar participation, with all the preparations and earlier's draining ingress (hindi talaga ako mabait pag ingress, haha!). And then there's the fashion week, also held in SMX or MOA--so I had no excuse to decline an invitation (kasi andun nako, haha)

Anyway, small talks with several people for the past 2 days often lead to fashion week kwentos, and kung bakit ang "tahimik" ng season nato. We noticed that there are fewer shows (compared to the past seasons) and fewer (giddy) attendees. Even my "style hunter" friend (for her work) ranted yesterday na wala na daw sha mapicturean nung first day at ang konti ng tao! :p It was more of na-sad ako rather than jinudge ko the whole event cause, sayang, I love fashion weeks! Sarah and I even looked back on the days na when we all went together via Paul's car to faraway SMX, braving the traffic, and cladded in our fancy (at that time, haha) ensemble, with the highest of heels (or heel-less, to some, circa 2012, lol). Then we also go home together, have late dinner in Yellow Cab, while comparing shows, trends, or just to catch up. Ngayon, even my friends don't attend na (sabi nga ni Sarah "Philippine Fashion Day" lang daw sha, haha!). I actually found myself watching the one and only show last night by myself! I sincerely hope that the local fashion scene and this "Olympics of Fashion" will pick up again on the next season... And gain that "elite vibe" back. Or maybe it's still there, but there's just no audience to witness it.

Let's see later...

PFW pala? Dati, kapag season na, flooded ang dashboard ko ng updates and OOTDS. That's sad nga. :/

  3. This is the day when I saw you at Robinsons Galle! We we're in the CR, pero nahiya akong iapproach ka eh. The first time I met you, sa CR din ng World Trade Center nung BU6! So, CR is the place to be. Hahahaha. Anyway, I like your outfit! Stylishly laidback. Saka lalong lumutang yung hair color mo. :)
