Halfway There

Tuesday, June 03, 2014

Nakakafrustrate pala talaga when photos turn out to be blurry pag nasalang na sa laptop. I am not particularly OC when it comes to picture quality cause as I have said before, blogger ako and my medium to get my message across is my words.. Not my photos. Bilib ako sa mga ma-photo diary, but that's just not me. For this particular "I'm A Kate Spade Girl" outfit though, sayang at ang grainy! Haha!

Anyway, I've been wearing this style for countless times nadin this summer, styled differently with another pair of shoes or sandals or bag, hair loose or in a bun. For fashion week, I decided to dress up a floral midi skirt with pearls, T-strap heels, and my favorite (overused) Kate Spade bag:

Anyway, I just realized that June nanaman na, meaning, we're almost halfway through 2014. Thus, I feel the need to assess the past (almost) 6 months. Kung naalala nyo, I created "28 Dares" last January, and so far I have accomplished the following:

2. Be featured in a magazine or newspaper.
7. Join an advocacy I truly believe in.
9. Beach trip.
14. Pay for a stranger's meal.
15. Attend a really interesting class.
17. Attend the Bikram 4x a week challenge this Feb!
19. Go to province/city I have never been to before.
21. Wear something really unexpected in one event.
22. Win something!
24. Invest in something I'll be so thankful for 5 years from now.
28. Buy a nice new gadget.

Most of the things that I was able to tick-off from the list were unexpected, and done ng hindi ako conscious na of my personal "assignments". First, the moment I got home from the States, I got an email that my full spread feature for a weekend magazine was out already. I also quite unexpectedly won a beach trip with my 2 friends, attended a Bo Sanchez finance seminar, and opened a Sun Life plan. I also recently bought a Macbook Pro after years of using an old HP laptop na halos mag bebreakdown na. 17 exciting tasks to go, and I have more than 6 months pa to do them!

Now what to get for that tattoo task....

Chambray Top - Zalora | Midi Skirt and Pearl Necklace - Metro Department Store | T-Strap Heels - Payless | Bag - Kate Spade
