Weekend Happenings

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

Feeling extra tinatamad today, after spending the whole day yesterday just posting and drafting blog assignments. The weekend, as well, felt like naghahabol sa huling hirit ng summer. I experienced sooo much things, and most of them were even unplanned! Anyway, pictures!

KWENTOS!

So, I got my Taylor Swift invitation a day before the actual concert, meaning nakacommit na ako to support the Nick Automatic launch at the SM North Edsa! Of course, kahit dulo to dulo ang MOA and SM North, go parin ako to support Niche! :) Congrats on your Metro Manila store opening, sobrang hit! Many more branches to come, @NCKATMTC!

My call time for the Cornetto's meet-and-greet Taylor Swift was 4pm, but of course it was 6ish na when we were able to meet her! It was my first time din to watch a concert alone, but exciting ng mga nanyayari, and at the VIP section, hindi ko na napansin! More kwentos in separate post... Thank you @selectacornetto! :)

The next day, still tired from the concert, I went to my lunch commitment with my blogger friends--again at the Mall of Asia (dapat pala dun nako natulog noh, haha). Christine and Paul also watched the Taylor Swift concert, so yun ang madalas kwentuhan. It was an intimate event naman, and the Japanese buffet was super good, so I was actually happy to be there and spend early Saturday morning with them. Read my Banzai post here.

After lunch and strolling, we dropped by the new Blo branch, also in MOA, to support Yuki. I also had the soft curls look, and learned that @BloHeartsAsia offers hair products din like the sea salt hairspray para madali kang makaacchieve ng beach waves 'do. Parang ang cool nun! :)

Paul and I also went to the Clear Dream Match that night at the University of Makati. I didn't even know may game that night, but I felt extra spontaneous that day, so I went and watched half of the @clearstadium game. The feeling of being in one arena with sports enthusiasts, fans, drumbeats, and athletes made me miss my UAAP craze. Anyway, Go Team James! :p

Finally, last Sunday, to add to the spontaneity of the weekend, my family woke up earlier than usual just to go on a roadtrip to Tagaytay and have lunch in Bag of Beans. We availed of their brunch buffet na sobrang best of both worlds--garlic rice and fried egg for your first serving, and then kare-kare and menudo for your next plate. Sarap!

Planning to make today count so I might just go out later for groceries, and maybe finally catch The Fault in our Stars! Or How To Train Your Dragon 2? Torn ako, haha! ;p
