The Ayala Malls Brings Back the Meaning of Christmas

Friday, November 07, 2014

Christmas should be an exciting and wonderful time of the year, but I've noticed how the reeeeallybad traffic, rush, and "panic buying" crowds from the past years turned the holidays into a dreaded season. Now our second home, the Ayala Malls, wants to keep the joy and beauty of Christmas by bringing back its true meaning with full efforts. Honestly, if it's not that Jose Marie Chan anthem or the kids carolling buwis buhay even in jeepney's doors, The Ayala Mall's The Joys of Christmas project really makes me strongly feel the "spirit" more positively.

Designer Trees.
Expect luxurious Noel by Hermes, Celebration by Ana Rocha, and Christmas Tree Sculpture by Impy Pilapil in Greenbelt soon!

Making the Christmas spirit light and your gift-giving bright, the Ayala Malls will open up Christmas Corners for all your holiday checklists: from gift ideas to gourmet choices. They will also install gift-wrapping stations and pampering offerings for your convenience! Here are some of the malls paandars for this year:

Just like last year, a silent auction will be held in Greenbelt to raise funds for a good cause. Partner organizations include Habitat for Humanity, CENTEX and The Sibaltan Women through Ayala Foundation, and the Little Sisters of the Poor and the Missionaries of Charity.

A Leeroy New artwork will be included. Save the date: November 19, Greenbelt 5 Fashion Walk.

The tunnel leading to Greenbelt expresses Christmas joy in the art of photographer, artist and Chairman emeritus of Ayala Corporation Sir Jaime Zobel de Ayala:

A beautiful glasshouse in Glorietta! From food, fashion, to home, the Palm Drive Lobby of Glorietta will showcase curated Christmas lists featuring the choices of Lori Baltazar of Dessert Comes First, Martine Cajucom, Nicole and Camille Tantoco, Grace Barbers Baja of The Spoiled Mummy. In love with home and food brands Wild to Mild (turmeric products), Oil Essentials, Cinq, and Eccentrics.

Trinoma's Christmas Village. From Nov 7 to January 15, Trinoma goers can enjoy interactive photo stations, game booths, and a one-stop shop with gift ideas for your loved ones.

Visit the Christmas Chef's Lane from Dec 8 to 28 at the Market! Market! for artisanal pastries and handcrafted creations that are one-of-a-kind. Perfect to give to the people who are special to you!

Treats from Pink Wasabi, Scout's Honor, Patisserie Filipino, and Deep Dips.

Aside from the sweet tooth haven, Market! Market! will also have fun shows by Christian Bautista and The Company, a Christmas Tree lighting, Meet and Greet Santa, Gourmet Festival, and a Toy Fair!

“Frankly Speaking” - Spectacular Christmas Shows at The Ayala Malls!

The Steps Dance Project turns to the eternal hits of Frank Sinatra into a song and dance concert “Frankly Speaking”, with founder Sofia Zobel-Elizalde, directed by James Laforteza, and choreographed by Jeffrey Espejo, Jun Saagundo, and Xernan Alfonso.

Featuring the finest scholars of Steps Dance Project’s roster of gifted scholars, students, and alumni sharing the stage with the talented New York dancer, musician and entertainer Omar Edwards, the brightest primetime stars Piolo Pascual, Xian Lim and Sam Milby, and guest singers George Schulze and JC Santos with the special participation of Mel Villena and his AMP Band:

“Frankly Speaking" concert will debut at the Glorietta Activity Center on November 7 at 7 PM. Shows in Alabang Town Center on November 15 and 16, TriNoma on November 22 and 23, Fairview Terraces on November 29 and 30, Ayala Center Cebu on December 6 and 7, and Market! Market! on December 13 and 14.

And lastly, by coming back to the heart of the season, in giving back and sharing your blessings, the Ayala Malls makes your support for your chosen foundations: For every 5 peso donation to any of the two chosen charities by the Ayala Malls, every customer gets a shopping bag absolutely free. These donations shall also serve as your access pass to all of Ayala Malls’ Christmas chorale performances.

So this Christmas, come back to the things that are most special to you. From me to you, let's solemnly swear to make this Holiday 2014 THE BEST YET. See you at the Ayala Malls!
