A perfect timing, Repertory Philippines presents the perfect show for the holidays: Scrooge The Musical!
A Leslie Bricusse musical adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens on the biggest Christmas KJ and grump Ebenezer Scrooge, the play is about how this old man went through a profound experience of redemption over the course of Christmas Eve. It's definitely a classic tale of how Mr. "Bah Humbug" was visited by his former partner Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Kids and adults will surely have all have a grand time with this timeless piece, and feel love, kindness, and Christmas more after watching the play.
Be inspired and fall in love with this production's lovely set and cast. The best part for me? The songs adapted in the play are the heart-warming and very familiar Jose Mari Chan hits from every Pinoys' favorite holiday album Christmas In Our Hearts! I almost cried during Tiny Tim's This Beautiful Day solo. :)
Scrooge The Musical started last November 21, and will run till December 14, 2014 at Onstage, 2F, Greenbelt 1, Paseo de Roxas Cor Legazpi St., Makati. This Repertory Philippines' production is directed by Ms. Baby Barredo, the company's artistic director.
