Coffee, Tea, or Chelsea?

Thursday, November 12, 2015

New-comer Chelsea clothing brand wowed fashion bloggers during their event last Tuesday at the Fairmont Hotel, Makati. London-based, the brand brings along with it the ideals of high street London fashion with reasonable price range!

“Tastefully dainty, sophisticated yet fun and modern.” This is how Chelsea’s founder, designer Kimberly Tugade describes her brand.

Kimberly with bloggers Yuki, Sara, Chin, and Jessa:

Inside the room are these racks, featuring Chelsea's Autumn-Winter 2015 Collection:

We were then tasked to style and shoot an outfit from Chelsea, with the theme "high tea".

And here's what I wore! Thank you Sarah for the photo and added accents! I missed my hippie side! And also, I like that they have wide range of sizes. Their Large dresses and tops fit perfectly on me, although masikip pag sa skirt! :p

We then went to the next room for the Chelsea brand and style talk.

My seatmates Ava and Sarah:

More about the brand:
“When I was conceptualizing Chelsea, I had this idea of a brand that’s very smart—one that offers functional clothes. In London, people dress the way they do because it allows them to go from one place to another without looking inappropriate—they can go from a pub to a five-star hotel and still look like they belong there.”

We all love this chic deep red coat! And surprise, it costs around Php 1500 only!

Style Inspiration: Twiggy / 60s

I'll actually wear this dress! Ryza Cenon is also super pretty:

I like this styling: turtleneck top with sleeveless dress.

Chelsea's style inspiration #2: Ruffles and pleats from Neo Victorian and Edwardian era:

3rd style inspo: Wall paper prints!

Everybody loves this vintage dress! Very Aisa Ipac, hehe1

“At the end of the day, it’s about looking good and looking like you didn’t try at all,” ends Tugade.

After the style talk, we also learned about the new Benefit Cosmetics makeup trends. I learned to be more experimental with colors, most especially on my eyes. To know more about the brand and their products, visit their Facebook Page.

Models were all wearing Benefit Cosmetics:

Chelsea is currently available in the Philippines through Zalora and all Wellworth Department Stores in Ayala Malls. Starting this December, it will also be available in Cebu through Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
