UK Face Care Brand SIMPLE Now in Manila

Sunday, October 30, 2016

I was easily drawn by the brand name when I first got the event invite to SIMPLE's Philippine launch. Aside from having the same name with my new clothing line, it is direct to the point to its purpose: A gentle, skin-loving, but highly effective products that champions not only how the skin looks from the outside, but how it feels.

The event was held at the relaxing ambiance of Le Jardin Restaurant at the Fort, where guests were served with great food that's both delicious and good for the body:

To deliver the best results, SIMPLE only uses skin-loving ingredients that are kind to the skin and to the planet. Sourced sustainability, it is free from color, fragrance, and other harsh ingredients that can upset the skin. Still, it delivers its promise of leaving skin thoroughly-cleansed without that tight or dry feeling.

SIMPLE's five most popular products, including the Micellar Cleansing Water (P499/200mL, P799/400mL), Micellar Facial Cleansing Wipes (P299), Moisturising Facial Wash (P299/150mL), Hydrating Light Moisturiser (P499/125mL), and Dual Effect Eye Makeup Remover (P499/125mL):

Guests wrote down why #KindnessIsSimple to them:

Coincidentally that morning, I felt really tired but had to force myself to move and get out of the house to go to all my commitments. While on my way to my first agenda, I conditioned myself that even though I feel extra groggy and sluggish that day, I have to remain kind towards others.

I wasn't able to put that down during the event, but that is what kindness is to me: A conscious effort to be polite, sensitive, and respectful toward others even when you're not feeling good yourself at the moment. It actually turned out to be a good day, which made me feel positive and light as I went home.

Maybe that's the same as the essence of this brand: To apply kindness to the skin even with all the harshness of the environment and my everyday commute. Apply the good stuff, and you will glow at the end of the day.
