I miss the cool breeze of a beautiful Spring day in Seoul! 🌸
In between cherry blossoms spotting and my tours with Trazy, I carried on with my Instax Kdrama bucket list. Read more on this project HERE. Thank you to all those who kept on messaging me about this tour and for all your questions and most especially for the good words! Still overwhelmed, but in a good way. ❤
So without further talks, here's my #kdramatour Part 2!

I always enjoy catching a movie in Alabang Town Center with my family, or in Glorietta or Greenbelt when I'm having my alone-time. It's just so convenient since I can just visit www.sureseats.com to check what's showing, the complete movie schedule, and even to purchase my ticket right away!
When I booked for my recent trip to South Korea, I had no plans but to see any early signs of Spring (my favorite season). 🌸 It's my third time in this country, so I've slowly covered most of Seoul's tourist spots and must-see places, and even went to Jeju Island last Autumn.
The night before my flight, I decided to list down a personal K-Drama Bucket List, places that I can visit or K-Drama-ish things to experience (like drink in a soju tent or try a Korean bath house). From a short list of 3-5 places, I became a bit ambitious and realized how cool it is to be able to go to at least one shooting location for every K-Drama I've watched since I started late last year! My list grew to 10+, so I printed some of the scenes with my new Instax SP2 Printer for easier reference when I go around solo in Seoul!
On that afternoon in Seoul, while walking around the Hangang Park to look for Eland Cruise's port, I kept on repeating to myself that I might have done something good to be there and then at that moment. The weather, sunny and not that cold. The walk, long but with beautiful view. Everything felt nice and right.
I have been to most of Korea's main tourist attractions during my last two trips in the country, but never in this area. In a way, riding a cruise is a way to see Seoul from a different light.
Like in any other week, I was also looking forward to my Sunday itinerary while in Korea. It was the only day my busy friend Marj (who currently resides in Korea, and where I stayed with for the whole trip) had the whole day free.
She decided to join me on a walking tour with Trazy, an interesting travel agency website created by two Korean wanderers who want foreign travelers to get the best deals and most convenient ways to explore different parts of Korea.
In a way, it's a bonding - slash - Korean history 101 - slash - make new friends day!

I may not be one to take lots of solo selfies, but I love group selfies (or, sabi nga nila, "groufies") to document a moment with my friends and loved ones. Usually the picture quality gets grainy because phone cameras have lower front cam resolutions, and also because they don't have a flash option!
If you're also into documenting every memorable scenes in your life, then this "phone case" is made for you. Let me introduce you to LuMee....

I just got home from a short but sweet trip to South Korea to celebrate the first day of Spring (my favorite season). I flew via AirAsia to and from Incheon, and both departure and arrival were swift and on-time! Yesterday, we landed in Manila and was surprised that we were 30 minutes early from estimated time of arrival. No wonder AirAsia is voted the world's best low cost carrier for eight consecutive years by Skytrax! Affordable, and reliable airline!
Speaking of AirAsia...
Everybody's skin requires its own special routine, but there are certain steps that are important for nearly every daily skin care regimen. It's easy to focus on the face because that's the skin that stands out most, but don't neglect your body skin! From head to toe, you want your skin to be soft, smooth and blemish-free.
Some of the basic essentials you'll need to achieve healthy skin are a good cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer. It's also important to remember that healthy skin is affected just as much by what you put inside your body as what you put on top of it, so make sure you're getting adequate sleep, water and nutrition.
Following the everyday body skin care tips below will help you achieve luminous, blemish-free skin that shines from the inside out.
Earlier at the Penshoppe event, I was reminded of Brad Turvey from "Club Pen" of circa 1990s (?). I tried searching for a photo, but can't seem to find one already. Anyway, the quick search lead me to another batch of Club Pen from a 2009 article, and lo and behold, the photo includes a young Melissa Ricks, Matt Evans, and then models Solenn Heussaff and Victor Basa!

I am a big fan of the Mossimo X. It's my kind of style, and something I will wear everyday. But the new Mossimo SS17 did not disappoint as well! I've been looking for summer pegs, and their music festival inspired pieces will inspire you in the coming hot hot days!
Flying to Singapore soon to catch the Coldplay concert! My game plan is to make this a budget trip, and spend as little as possible--*Php22,000 all in (or less, if possible). I've already bought my concert ticket at Php 6500, asked my cousin to crash her place in Singapore to save on accommodation (free), and paid for my roundtrip plane tickets (Php 5500) on a budget airline. To further save money, I didn't get any baggage allowance! So that's TEN DAYS with just a backpack!
*Php 22,000 is the most expensive ticket for Coldplay Philippines concert. Just want to prove a point - that you can travel AND watch a concert already with that amount!
One of my Sunday prayers is good health for me and my loved ones. For the past few years I've experienced both sickness that lasted for more than a week, and worrying for an ill friend who needed to bed-rest for more than a month!
Those down moments made me more aware that above wealth and material things, above all the exciting travels and other life achievements, HEALTH is the best gift to enjoy all these.
Good thing I am a cardio addict, but I needed more motivation to get up and go to the gym:

It has been a while since I last posted an OOTD in this blog. Can't believe that back in the day, it's the usual content of this website!
I usually just post my daily outfits on my Instagram and don't feel the need to post more photos, angles, and close-up shot of the details (a thing before). But today, I want to "Write about things that you have in mind, anything from day to day life, food, relationships, travelling, or your current mood", one of StyleWe's suggestions in StyleWe blog: 50 Ideas For Happiness In 2017.
So here goes a random post!
I've been editing some spring photos from the past two years, but only had the chance to post this Korea set today (See Japan set HERE) ~ in time for my post-spring trip this May (and hopefully next week). 🌸🙏
The photos also reminded me of some of the best scenes in K-Dramas I've watched already: when the Goblin is happy and in love, when Kim Woo Bin and Suzy Bae had a sad talk under cherry blossom trees in Uncontrollably Fond, and when Ji-Hyun (inside Song Yi-kyung's body) played the piano and Kang finally recognized her in 49 Days! The swaying light pink trees just added to the drama!
Can you remember more spring scenes? Anyway, here are the photos!
When I went to Japan in spring, they offer EVERYTHING in cherry blossom (or sakura)--from prints to flavors! They have sakura coffee, bread with tiny sakura bud, sakura printed tissue paper, you name it! 🌸
Here in Manila, although we don't have spring, much less a cherry blossom tree, I still saw signs of the coming season in some international and even local brands while strolling around the mall. I hate collecting things (feeling KonMari), but I can't help but buy a piece or two when I see anything cherry blossom related. It's my weakness!
If you're a fellow sucker for spring, sharing these cherry blossom-themed products available in the market:
Indeed, the best experiences are the ones shared with others. ❤
Last night, guilty of not being familiar with any K-Pop song unless it came from a K-Drama huhu, I went to celebrate with Filipino fans at the 2017 One K Global Concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. Manila is the FIRST leg of this international concert series, and I felt lucky to be part of it with my fellow K-Drama fan-friends Ashley and Ava!
